Someone said we could not judge a person's Aboriginality on their skin colour.  Why isn't that applied in the matter of Pascoe?  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Excellent work! Note that this is a local initiative and not something thought up by the urban activists who feel a 'voice' is what these kids need.

Buggar me!  You got some Aboriginal kids off their arses to do what people have been doing for years/decades?  Next thing you know you'll imbue them with a work ethic and the desire to prosper from the fruits of their labours... maybe even learn about the land from the white man's ways, eh?

The Horror - THE HORROR!!

I harvest seeds every year from my gardens on the simple basis that local grown and acclimatised works better next time and next time around..... been doing it for decades ... got some tomatoes from compost already ..... the best and strongest that grow on their own....

Part of the problem with the Murray/Darling was the removal of so much saltbush ... go tell it to the dopey politicians with their get rich schemes for mates and government bodies selling off the water that falls from the skies even as snow .... Lake C won't make much difference ....

Now if you could get those kids to LEARN and grow up to study etc and become qualified in land management - you might stand a chance of getting them into saving the Murray/Darling.... now get cracking....

The left love Abos doing Abos stuff and don't want them to actually achieve anything that will help Abos thrive in a modern society because they want Abos to be their pet natives.

I'd much prefer to hear about an Abo teen doing a double degree in law and economics.

There are countless Aboriginal people doing Law/economics ... and other notable degrees. Countless. We, on the "left" not only acknowledge and encourage that, we would much rather is be disseminated as a face of Aboriginal Australia than the photos, memes and youtubes you notoriously put up every time the word Aboriginal is mentioned, Gordy.

The simple fact of the matter is that you do not respect the Aboriginal culture and respect Aboriginal people only when they have left their culture behind.

Meanwhile, i just respect them all along the way. And  you really can't understand that.

Are they all dilutees?  You know - lower entry requirements just to make it look good?

How Aboriginal are they?  Are there any Pascorigines amongst them?  Aboriginal Lites?

Aboriginal culture is doing a degree now?

Maybe you should join Cementhead Langton in lambasting the very culture in which she thrives so very well for so little real effort.  You'd fit right in, messra....

Well, do you also respect all white Europeans along the way, and their culture?

Your sycophantic virtue signalling is laughable. You respect all cultures all the way as long as you can remain totally ignorant of them.

Of all the stupid questions ...

You don't need to scratch very deeply to see that "white" European culture is heavily influenced and propelled by the cultures of other parts of the world.  It's one of it's great successes. It's not really all that "white".

As for respecting the culture, how many more museums and art galleries do you want? Are you seriously feeling underrepresented, fruitbat? So much so that you're threatened by the representaation of anything other?

Once more, a photo to denigrate.

Way to prove my point.
