Looking for cheap office accommodation I once rented the first floor of a printing office that no longer needed that space, far out it was cheap.

When I moved my desk into the little separate office I noticed the vertical blinds. Then I started using them—BLISS!

The windows faced north: in the morning the slats of the blinds faced the west, in the afternoon I switched them to face east. I had light, some views but no huge sun glare. I have loved vertical blinds ever since.

Now, I arranged to have windows measured for the blinds, that should be done over the next week with consultation re colors to suit the color I will paint all the rooms except the kitchen—my poor beige kitchen needs some radical treatment I think.

But how great will that be? Light, warmth from the sun, no glare, close them to reduce heat loss through the windows!

Holland blinds suck, venetians suck, get dusty, the cords break etc, useless.

Vertical blinds are the way to go IMHO.
