what does constitutional recognition of boongs even do

besides provide some meaningless symbolic SOB to them in writing

why bother wasting money on a referendum for that

sounds similar to the rudd apology

it's telling that in the john farnham voice promo commercial that showed generations of the same family watching pivotal boong moments on tv the rudd apology wasnt included in the montage, simply bc its been 15 or so years after it happened and absolutely nothing has changed for abos since

including it would foreshadow in the minds of watchers the future trajectory (and inevitable failure to achieve anything) of the voice so they were prudent to keep it out
