Oral traditions are nothing new. Stories through songs, drama, dance, myths etc.

Also I don’t understand how you can even talk about pure Aboriginal DNA given the migration processes you’ve outlined.

There’s no such thing as PURE DNA wrt Aborigines.

It depends on the context you use 'pure'. All DNA is inherited - that applies to all living and extinct species prior to the 'creation' events that gave rise to RNA and DNA.

In the context of where similar DNA found in Australian Aboriginals is found elsewhere in the world, their DNA is endemic to Australia - i.e. pure as in 'full-blood' - not mixed with recent European/Asian/etc... DNA.

Race is whatever the writer/speaker says it is.

But usually, they're referring to religious/societal/cultural phenomena - or superficialities like skin colour.

Sentinel Island peoples look African, yet their DNA indicates that they are likely more closely related to Southeast Asians than Africans.

"Race" is a concept created by Racists to justicy their denigration of humans on the basis of physical differences between people. There is more difference within most "Racial" groups than there is between the groups. "Race" is based upon usually melanin/facial differences/hair differences/etc., rather than genetic differences. The use of the term "sub-species" is a complete misnomer used by "Racists" to try to justify their "Racism", all humans have no difficulties interbreeding amongst themselves, "sub-species" point to major genetic differences. Very soon you’ll find that those advocating for YES will finally wake up to the ruse of a vile Labor Party Prime Minister who is pretending to be a caring working class man who values the environment and Aborigines. Take a look at the coal mines Labor is approving left right and centre AND Labor has pushed to override previous legislation so as to allow the biggest polluters of the current globe to bury their nuclear waste in Australia. And the regions Albo has offered up are close to waterways.

My apologies to all for going off topic but you know.... I’m farkkkkimg angry at how dumb Australia is. What has happened to make so many Australians seriously naive, gullible and stupid??

Sub-species is used to define groups that were split and isolated from others such that their DNA markers differ significantly from each other but not enough to prevent interbreeding that produces fertile offspring.
