I'd bet Albanese, his Cabinet - all MPs in his government - will be the most relieved if NO gets up.

You could say a NO get-up would be Albanese's Pilate defence: He can wash his hands of responsibility for establishing the mega-bureaucracy required for a Voice - because the people have spoken.

And of course, Lisa is so incompetent she in incapable of offering policies that will assist in closing the gap, despite being invited to do so by me several times.

You are ignoring the present (black) mega bureaucracy responsible for maintaing the (black) poverty/welfare industry (inc. prisons, ill-health etc), which Pauline and Price will keep reminding everyone about.

He will legislate it anyway and with Dutton's support.

No, but Albanese might.

Albanese will hopefully step down as PM after the referendum fails.

Albo is not a homo is he?

Also has spent his days as PM proving that he’s prepared to be/do anything for a vote.

There is nothing in the man which represents Labor or the working class. Nothing at all. And all the idiots who voted for him deserve what they get IMO.

He does get a bit cosy with Qantas.   Embarrassed

The rejection by the voting public in the upcoming referendum will be a victory for common sense, and the start of the windback of some of the more absurd racist policies being pushed by various governments.

keep dreaming.  Roll Eyes

The Voice is losing badly in every poll except in Tassie.

Looks like no more freebies for you John - the Abbo.       Grin

It's not about any win or loss that I think he's dreaming about

You’re NotSoGreat when it comes to reading posts. I responded to your question (a few days ago I believe). The fact that you didn’t like my response is a matter for you to sort out/come to terms with.

Yesterday we attended our niece’s engagement party (she’s my husband’s sister’s daughter). I’ve often mentioned that my husband’s side are long term left wingers. So naturally I was dreading the conversations I would be caught up in as I’m THE CONSERVATIVE in their family.

I was panicking all the way to the function centre analysing/prepping potential scenarios and how it would be best to respond so as to keep the peace and not make waves. And my husband made me promise that I would not talk politics there. Or Christianity.

Long story short ... we were placed at a table with his cousins and nephews (1 table away from the engaged couple and their respective parents). The ONLY discussion we could hear was about Aborigines and the Referendum. It was bizarre. I remained silent (more out of shock than the earlier promise I had made) because EVERYONE was venting their reasons for voting NO. And some of their reasons were incredible and funny. Some were based on neighbours fighting each other about what it all meant or could mean in the near future.

Eventually they realised I was unusually quiet so I was asked what I would be voting (by these ardent left wing voting relatives lol).

I looked at my husband cautiously before uttering these words: I’ll be voting HELL NO of course. You’d have to be clinically insane to vote anything else.

And with that I was immediately accepted as a part of my husband’s left wing family. I was FINALLY one of them. 😂🤣😆

Bottom line ? I have to do the right thing and thank our dhead of a Prime Minister and his push for the Referendum for bridging the gap. Thanks dhead. Oh and these people previously did vote for you AND now they want you out of office ASAP because you’re a farkkkkking fraud.

This morning my husband announced he too would be voting No.

What a wonderful way to start the week. 😎😎😎

Update

Well....I had morning coffee with the girls today and EVERY single one of them (there were 5 all up) stated that they did not know anyone who will be voting yes. No friend/no family member/no neighbour/no work colleague. No one. In fact they agreed with me that it showed how out of touch Albo is because the Referendum would prove once and for all how Labor squanders tax payer money. Albo will be remembered for some time for throwing away billions of dollars in tax payer money during a time where both the public health and aged care systems are running on empty. That’s all.

Well, governments do what they can while they have the mandate.

Anything major such as treaties, reparations or recognition of sovereignty would require bi-partisan support and a general election - and it would be on the government of the day to wear it if a 'voice' bill did not have popular support.

Well - it's my nephew's eldest daughter's birthday t'other day.  Her grampa is mostly Aboriginal, her dad about half... she herself is much taller, very beautiful, and blond as they come... her mother is a blonde....

As far as I'm aware none of them has made a song and dance about their 'Aboriginality' - like the rest of us - our ancestry is just part of the furniture of our makeup.... being descended from the Ancient High Kings of Ireland (as my nephew and his daughter are, too) does not give me (or them) any special privileges..... being part-descended from Vikings (apparently) does not give me (or the nephew and his daughter etc) the right  to go around conquering....

Again - nobody I know ever has said they will vote YES to this nonsense.

There you go!

I don’t understand how people could even get close to voting yes in this upcoming ridiculous referendum given it’s now known that the underlying agenda has been hijacked by a small segment of part Aboriginal nutters for their own personal gain ie to voice their niche driven wish list. In fact it’s now come to light that many Aborigines will be voting NO in protest/because of that.

Watch the sly ways, one after another, they try to work their way around that while we are tied down with their endless costs of living fiascoes, the rest of their social agenda to continue to privilege one group over another, create division, and so forth ...

And that small group  of part-timers are wanting the fattest spots in the new corporation as a  good little earner for life for doing nothing while the real problem can just fester on and on ... that's what pisses many Aborigines off...
