Just look at that! Now dividie reckons a naturally occurring rock formation must be a work of art by Aboriginals - sort of a Cistine Chapel of the Outback.. and silly me - I always thought that ART required the human hand .... so by some amazing osmosis - this naturally occurring rock becomes a work of art under the control of the Aborigines and from which they can exclude everyone else because of some spirit...

Now then - so the idea is to create of them all 'artists' paid at a fine salary rate etc? No suffering in garretts for them, eh?

They already get their artist's remuneration according to the pay scales...... it's called the Dole.... and most artists live on it most of the time.

More important, though - is all this guff of Dirty Dan The Dicktator From Down South somehow magically finding land to even negotiate with this treaty mob he's created at state level... there's no such thing as unused land these days.... the very fact that in ALL cases to date of handovers of 'unused land' to the natives - the bushwalkers, tourists and the odd ARTIST who might want to go there to paint or photograph the fabulous scenery or whatever who use it are EXCLUDED - PROVING that it was NOT unused AT ALL....

Time to put a stop to this kind of bullsh
