Masks don't work it's clear you don't know the difference between RCT (Random Control Trial) and observational studies. RCT's are the Gold standard for testing it can't get any better than that.
78 Random Control Trials with masks show they made no difference it doesn't matter if it's N95 or surgical mask.
Thank you for showing everyone who reads this you have no idea with scientific testing.
Not the Cochrane Review AGAIN?
How many times have you posted it now?
And how many times have I tried to tell you that
it has been widely misinterpreted? As you can see, Cochrane themselves have admitted it.
Do you have a comprehension problem? Just like aquascoot?
Speaking of aquascoot, I haven't seen much of him in this section of the forum lately... has he finally seen the light and now understands that SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) isn't "mild" after all?
Perhaps the fact that nearly 100 Australians a week are still dying of Covid has convinced him? Took a while but I do believe we finally got there.
How many times are you going to ignore the evidence from 78 Random Control Trials which is the highest form of evidence?
Unlike you i looked at these RCTs and they showed no difference with wearing or not wearing a mask.
It was the editor not the authors of that study that posted your link.
Quote:t would be accurate to say that the review examined whether interventions to promote mask wearing help to slow the spread of respiratory viruses, and that the results were inconclusive.
The original Plain Language Summary for this review stated that 'We are uncertain whether wearing masks or N95/P2 respirators helps to slow the spread of respiratory viruses based on the studies we assessed.' This wording was open to misinterpretation, for which we apologize
If masks worked you would expect to see a big difference in reducing cases with those 78 RCTs.
The fact they saw little to no difference clearly shows masks don't work.
How can you misinterpret that?
