Remote controls
Sep 29th, 2023 at 3:13pm

One of my sons-in-law was recently in Ireland accompanied by the daughter and grandkids,
While there he regularly switched some of the lights in their home in Australia on and off as appropriate to give the impression that someone was home, and when they were an hour out of Sydney he switched on the heating.

All done from his ‘phone.

The telephone has great possibilites.

People who can't distinguish between etymology and entomology bug me in ways I cannot put into words.

Not at the moment.but he’s thought of it.

He or anyone else can start fires or initiate explosions remotely, an arsonist could be anywhere in the World and touch off a fire for the insurance.

The necessary equipment is available, just do a Google, not expensive either.

And the short run of sanity comes to an end. Unfortunate.

Makes perfect sense to most people living towards a future, not in the past (Dementia).
