No - I'm fed up with "White guilt".

White people are an oppressed minority in the world -
some say we represent only 7% of the world's population.

According to the TV ad campaign, Aboriginals are disadvantaged. They were disadvantaged when the First Fleet was still in England. Who's fault was that?

No - and it never will work on me.  I did nothing to anyone and expect to be treated the same - sadly in this Mad Country that is an impossible dream.

I've tried to explain the concepts of 'relative poverty/prosperity' to the likes of dividie - waste of time.

An Aboriginal today compared to his/her pre-1788 ancestors is rich.... even has an Akubra to keep the sun out of the eyes and off the head.... it's tough though, having to fish in white man's tinnies with outboards and use white man's rods etc, and then stay 'stuff this' and head down to Macca's for dinner.

Similarly - and over the heads of those ideologues who see only one thing - someone here earning $600 a week is poor, but looks rich to someone from most other societies and cultures.... probably doesn't eat or sleep as well, let alone own a rice paddy or something.... OWN property!  A dream on $600 a week and the rice farmer makes $300 a year.... and loses perspective.

Had to pay.. PAY mill owner to go to work!!

I'll vote on the day.
Always good to rev up the people with the pamphlets in arguments and see their faces turn red.
Always good to stand in line and start another argument and get people's blood boiling.
Always good to have a sausage sizzle.
Always good to chat women up. Last one was a lovely Polish blonde.
Always good to leave a fart at the booth for the next person.
Always good to write all over the booth the things that will distract the following voters.
Always good to leave a scrunched up napkin with bits of sausage, sauce and onion in the booth.
Always good to watch the Ledger fail to find my name and look perplexed when I say I don't have an address.
Always good to go out and have some fun - because it's mandatory! Wink

Our postal votes finally arrived the other day.

Completed and posted back.

There was no way my elderly aunt and I were going to line up on October 14th to vote.

An added 'bonus' is we don't have to run the 'gauntlet' of having people shoving how to vote cards in our faces all the way up to the polling booths.

I have

I got the ballot paper - and borrowed a pen from the person who checked my name off the list and gave me the paper - and wrote NO in front of him and then walked in and put my paper in the bin and they invited me to go to a booth - but I said I didn't need to.

This referendum is the biggest danger to Australia since Japan and WWII.

The enemy within seeks to destroy my country

NO

Well, well - been warning yez about Fifth Columns extant in this country and the Rest Of The West for ages now... all those years of scorning my views as extreme are coming back to haunt you all now...

Remember that little homework thing I got together - and asked for a a description of the Fifth Columns running the woods here now?  How many years ago was that?

It feel so good to know I was right all along, and I thank you all for electing me your lifetime President.

I Told You So!!

No.

I vote early to avoid the crowds.

When I voted there were four people in front of me.

I couldn't have spent more than 3 minutes all up inside the place.

Walked up, told them my name, took the ballot paper to the booth, made my mark, put the pencil back in the box on the desk, put the ballot paper in the plastic tub, and that was it.

I have almost never voted early except when I have been overseas or was at sea and have never waited longer than 5 minutes. This was the same in the city or in the country.

I did have an issue last election with people from all sides lining the path to the church hall and creating a gauntlet for voters to run to get into the building. I and others complained and they were moved away eventually I believe.

We don’t know anyone who will be voting YES.

In fact every time we broach the subject of the referendum the response is anger/frustration at Albo and a BIG NO to anything he’s asking of us.

I honestly don’t think Albo will be in that position for long.
