It's shocking -
over 2,670 people have been killed in Gaza -
most of them innocent people who had nothing to do
with the terrorist attack on Israel.

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/world/thousands-at-risk-of-dying-in-gaza-hospitals-...

The Gaza Health Ministry said 2,670 Palestinians have been killed and
9,600 wounded since the fighting erupted,
more than in the 2014 Gaza war, which lasted over six weeks.
That makes this the deadliest of the five Gaza wars for both sides.

once people have lived in victim mindset for too long, its probably all over for them

if you tried to offer them self improvement, they would attack because their very existence is identified with victimhood.

humans go into a state of homeostasis where their emotional states dont like change

we all know this

we all have that aunt or uncle who is always complaining and if you paid for them to come to hawaii on a holiday, they would just complain about the uncomfortable bed or the cost of food or the taxi driver ripping them off.

but kids can be helped
they are still malleable.

if we can get the kids out and into the mentorship of postive confident competant role models, we can turn this ship around

the guys who run dubai are fellow arabs

give the aid money to them and let them pick winners and entrepreneurs

rebuild gaza the way dubai, berlin, tokyo, singapore, seoul have been rebuilt.

the chinese were in seoul, brutally raping and murdering about the same time the palestinians were first at war.

look at them now.

all achieved through enterprise and endeavour and self belief

in life you will be brutally challenged

you either rise to the challenge and you go up
or you see yourself as a victim and you go down

there is no third option

https://www.timesofisrael.com/egypts-sissi-says-israeli-gaza-campaign-has-gone-b...

Meeting on Sunday with visiting US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi said that Israel’s activity in Gaza had “exceeded” its right to self-defense and had become collective punishment.

Sissi, whose country shares a narrow border with the Gaza Strip that has remained largely blocked over the past week, said during the meeting that Israel’s “reaction went beyond the right to self-defense, turning into collective punishment for 2.3 million people in Gaza,” according to Egypt’s state-run media.

The M8 was a 4.5-inch (114 mm) rocket developed and used by the United States military during World War II. Produced in the millions, it was fired from both air- and ground-based launchers;

i would suggest some self help books could be very useful to the palestinians.

they are stuck in "victim mindset" which lefties perpetuate.

i am an enormous fan of dubai and of singapore

2 of my favourite places.

both built from nothing 2 generations ago.

singapore built from a brutal occupation.

if the palestinians can cast of the anchor of people like matty fisk advising them and get some mentors from fellow arabs in dubai, then the sky is the limit.

what one man can do, another can do.

but they have to give up the complaoning and the sooking and the attachment to negative emotions

this will be difficult

emotional states are soooooo addictive.

perhaps a 1000 schoolkids from gaza could be sent to singapore and to dubai and in 10 years time, get them back and establish them as a ruling consortium.

certainly , for a child to stay in gaza under the care of complaining beaten down losers like the palestinians and complaining beaten down losers like the lefty intellectual aid organisations is a fate worse then death.

i will shoot this off in an email to the palestinian authority.
you still need to supply me with their web address

True. They'd also have to cast away Israel's blockade.

After that, all good. Palestine can open up the region's new trade and travel hub. Airports, shopping malls, luxury car showrooms. Maybe Disney could open up a new theme park.

I know one thing, dear. I'll be watching Housewives of Gaza for sure.

You?

like i said before israel does not want to actually have to go into gaza, which is why they appear to be getting cold feet and a lot of backpeddling is going on re: the humanitarian aid, gaza's water supply etc. urban warfare is a notoriously brutal thing as they themselves found out against hezbollah in 2006. it's probable that they'll be looking for every excuse possible to wind this down and de-escalate, in spite of the outlandish bravado from some of the people in this thread.

youre cynical

let me tell you what cynicism is .

its a defense mechanism to protect the ego of someone who has not lived their dreams

maybe in the past they tried and failed and so they gave up trying  because the pain was too much.

"if you never try, you never have to feel the pain of failure"

i reject that plan for the palestinian people.

maybe the old ones are cynical but the young ones, can indeed, create a dubai and you are a bad man if you crush their dreams

in life you will go one of 2 ways

you will get bitter (cynical) or you will get better (aspirational)

there are no other options

Israel is blockading Gaza for a reason. Can you guess what it is, wee paki?  Call a friend if you need to. Open book exam.

(Clue: it is not blockading anyone who is not threatening it with annihilation).

Umm...could it be control of the perimeter wire of the concentration camp?
Apart from that, it's nuts to say they will destroy Hamas. That's like the Soviets looking for the ruling class as individuals. Hamas is not covid, it's a social reaction which will remain while Israel chases its gift from 3000 years ago.

Your chode, according to his bent, asks for a jumper. Such is the way of the inferior man, who basically lives a life of pure garbage.

Read the Donald's favourite book, the Bible. Jesus said the same thing.

Nietzsche, Paretto, Wayne Dyer, they all borrowed from the big J.

The "noble Donnie" most of all.

Do you think Israel will let self-help books past the blockade?

I think they will. Anthony Robbins could re-do his Unlimited Power series with a new chapter on nutritional supplements for those on starvation diets. Stephen Covey could release the Seven Habits for Highly Effective Political Prisoners. Wayne Dyer could whack a new chapter in Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life on how to support populations with spine and  traumatic brain injuries, rebuild flattened neighbourhoods and restore power and water supplies with no funds.

When all this is over, I'm sure Israel will come to its senses and take the opportunity to change hearts and minds.

Don't you?

Hamas & Tabouli will eventually 'blow themselves up'.
It's just a matter of staying clear of the blast radius.

Bibi is an idiot -

Hamas wants him to kill as many Pallys as possible so other countries
join in and destroy Israel.
That's the plan.
The Pallys don't care if they all die as long as they take all the Jews with them.
