Why didn't they let Israel have it? But that doesn't prevent Palestine being a nation. What sensible reason stops them?

The terrible Iranians hate Jews but treat them better than Jews do Palestinians who are expelled from their houses and farms.
'Most Iranian Jews say that they view Iran as their home and are allowed to practice Judaism freely, but there is suspicion and fear too. Despite their Pro-Iranian stance and their refusal to travel to Israel, the Jews of Iran are denounced for betraying Iran by showing loyalty to Israel. However, Iranian Jews are allowed to visit Israel (Even though Iranian passport holders are legally barred from doing so), often through Turkey, and return back. Even the current chief rabbi of the Islamic Republic, Yehuda Gerami, who often shows pro revolutionary and anti-Zionist views, has studied in Yeshivas Ateres Yisrael in Jerusalem'.

At the end of the YK War, Sinai was in Israeli hands. The Egyptian Sinai was a negotiated settlement. It should have been Greater Gaza.

An argument based on the moral equivelancy of Israel and Iran is typical progressive/sensetive/new age nonesense. Iran is a clerical fascist dictatorship which forces its morals on everyone at pain of prison or death. It also exports its hatred and weapons to other shia tribes and fascist states.

I get the feeling that the Arab countries don't truly care about Gaza.
They could have taken all those 2.3 million people and given them better lives than
living in a hell hole prison but they did nothing.
No one with any intelligence would want to live there
with Israel able to bomb them via jet fighters whenever they want
and to control their water, food and fuel supply.
The Egyptians won't let any of them go and live in Egypt.

What we're covering

The Israel Defense Forces is starting to increase its airstrikes in Gaza, a spokesperson said. The IDF's chief of staff also told commanders Saturday that the military will "enter the Gaza Strip" and initiate an operation to take out Hamas, but he did not provide a specific timeframe.

The Israeli military has ramped up its operations in the occupied West Bank, where it struck a mosque early Sunday to thwart what it called "an imminent terror attack." The Palestinian Health Ministry said three people were killed in the strike.

The Rafah crossing briefly opened Saturday morning to allow the first convoy of aid trucks to enter the besieged Gaza Strip from Egypt. But more aid is desperately needed in the Palestinian enclave, where conditions continue to deteriorate.

The US military is sending more missile defense systems to the Middle East and placing additional US troops on prepare-to-deploy orders in response to escalations throughout the region in recent days.

The US and its allies are urging Israel to set clear goals for a potential ground assault on Gaza, placing a particular emphasis on avoiding civilian casualties, US and Western officials told CNN.

Ilhan Omar fears for family’s safety after barrage of threats over Israel criticism

Minnesota congresswoman blames ‘dishonest smearing’ for surge in violent threats in wake of Israel-Hamas conflict

Ilhan Omar, a Muslim US representative, said she fears for her family’s safety after receiving an onslaught of threats for criticizing Israel’s treatment of Palestinians.

The Democratic congresswoman from Minnesota opened up in a statement about the increase in Islamophobic remarks and threats she has received, including threats directed at her family. NBC News first reported on the statement, which was later shared with the Guardian.

Omar said that she and other Muslim Americans have been negatively affected by a “dishonest smearing” that labels them as a threat for condemning Israel’s treatment of Palestine amid fighting in Gaza.

She specifically called out rhetoric used by several far-right lawmakers that equates her and other representatives with terrorist supporters.

“It directly endangered my life and that of my family, as well as subjected my staff to traumatic verbal abuse simply for doing their jobs,” Omar said in the statement, referring to the far-right rhetoric.

“More importantly, it threatens the millions of American Muslims.”

Not giving it to Gaza means they aren't worth much as a state. On your basis, not giving it to Israel also limits Israel's right to be a state.
Iran is terrorist but treats Jews better than Israel treats its Palestinians.  Could it possibly be that Israel is causing Palestinian hostility?

Sorry - I can't agree with him.

Both sides of this war are extremely barbaric.
Almost all their victims are innocent people and around half are children.

I don't see why Israel has to reduce Gaza to a pile of smoking rubble
with 1000s of dead people in order to fight Hamas.
I speculate that they do it because they can.
Hamas would do the same to the Israel if they could.
They are all as bad as each other.

I have common sense if that is what you mean

Iran wishes to perform genocide on the Jews
But lacks the ability to do so

If Israel wished to perform a genocide on the Palestinians
They could accomplish that by 6pm tonight

The fact that one side would and the other side doesn't shows who has a correct moral compass

And its  certainly not you my friend Grin Grin
