Ayers Rockfor Tourism is dead indeed
Uluru is for the Boongs.
Who said it had to be for the Tourism Industry to exploit it?
Leave it for the Boongs to do what they want to do with it.
It's their Uluru, not the Tourism Board's.
I have to disagree that Ayers Rock somehow "belongs"
to our Aboriginals, or it's "their" rock. It's been there
for 550 million years, millennia before the Aborigines
ever set foot in this continent.
Ayers Rock "belongs" to each and every Australian.
When we start creating laws and legislation based
solely on race, then all is lost in any true democracy.
(This is one major reason for my NO voice vote.)
