This time our dithering PM (who was told off yesterday for being a dithering tosspot) finally woke up and issued this statement 👇

Mr Albanese condemned a large gathering of Australians celebrating the Hamas attack on Israel earlier on Monday morning.

A crowd reportedly gathered outside Lakemba station in western Sydney on Sunday night, cheering on the surprise assault by the Palestinian Islamist militant group.

The death toll has climbed to more than 700 Israelis and more than 400 Palestinians.

Sheik Ibrahim Dadoun reportedly told the gathering it was a “day of victory”.

Mr Albanese condemned the land, sea, and air assault by Hamas and those who gathered in support of the violence.

“There’s no victory with the slaughter of innocent people,” Mr Albanese told Sunrise.

“The capturing of the people and taking them back to Gaza represents an extraordinary action by Hamas. And Israel, of course, has a right to defend itself, and it will.”

Albo spoke of an "unprovoked attack" (by Hamas), but is forgetting that Gaza is (correctly) aka "the world's largest open-air prison".

You shouldn't be surprised if the hotheads among the oppressed population rise up in revolt....

Only the Green voters would think Gaza is an open air prison.

It's a rocket factory

It's both: and why are the prisoners making rockets?

A serious question asked in an ABC radio debate today: why did ("terrorist"  group) Hamas take over Gaza, after Israel wirhdrew?
(quick google)

Why did Israel leave Gaza?
"Israel's plan of unilateral disengagement from the Gaza Strip and North Samaria put forward by Prime Minister Ariel Sharon was carried out on 15 August 2005. The purpose of the plan was to improve Israel's security and international status in the absence of peace negotiations with the Palestinians.

Obviously a flawed plan: in the absence of peace negotations re the occupied WB, extremists were free to gain power in Gaza via an election, because many Palestinians were disaffected by the PLO's (and Fatah's) lack of progress toward achieving the 2 state solution.

It's because they are Muslims, and Islam condemns them to die for the cause of putting the Jews in their place.

Wrong as usual. There are many moderate Muslims in the WB, including leader Mahmoud Abbas, who elected Fatah (who accept Israel's right to exist),  despised by
the extremists including in Iran , who want to "push Israel into the sea" .

But fd doesn't do 'moderation'....hence he doesn't support Abbas' efforts in the UN on behalf of the 2-state solution.

Do you think you are contradicting me?

Would you also say that Nazism was not to blame for the holocaust because of moderate Nazi supporters who stood by and watched the Jews getting loaded onto trains?

Every last person celebrating last night should be rounded up and if not citizens, deported. Of citizens, jailed.

Hamas IS ISIS. They are one in the same.

A number of people in the crowd chanted “Gas the Jews” at the protest.

In the Second World War, as many as six million Jews were gassed to death by the Nazi regime in Berlin.

Our 'diversity' is their strength. Look across the world, the Muslims in every western city are chanting, united.

This is happening overseas 👇

https://au.yahoo.com/news/family-five-murdered-hamas-total-210208409.html

An entire Israeli family, including twin six-year-old girls and a four-year-old boy, were reportedly killed by Hamas shortly after they assured friends they had found safety.

Tamar, 35, and her husband Yonatan Kedem-Siman Tov took refuge at their home in Nir Oz, less than two miles from the Gaza border, with daughters Shachar and Arbel and son Omer on Saturday.

Mrs Kedem-Siman Tov sent friends in Sydney, Australia, a WhatsApp message to let them know that they were safe amid the rocket fire, according to The Sydney Morning Herald.

“We got into the shelter in our house, we’re all going okay,” she told Yishai and Mor Lacob, but later stopped responding.

The Lacobs later received word that the family’s safe room had been breached by Hamas terrorists.

Friends of the family had their worst fears confirmed by the Israeli government on Sunday evening.

Elad Strohmayer, an Israeli diplomat, said: “An entire family vanished from the face of the earth.”

Mr Strohmayer said Tamar, Yonatan and their three children “were brutally murdered by Hamas terrorists in Kibbutz Nir Oz”. He added: “Remember their names.”

Tasmania beckons but maybe not now that Monk resides there.

Wasn't it such a grand idea way back in the late 40s to create a non Muslim State right in the middle off pissed of Muslims.

If I was an Israeli, I'd be very paranoid.  Lebanon and Syria to the north, Egypt to the south Jordon to the east, Palestine embedded and water west.

I wonder one day if the Mediterranean will need to part for another Exodus?

If those four (plus Palestine) Muslim Countries got an act together, it may well have to.

Stupid.

So, do you know any Muslims personally?  Yes or No?

How is that relevant in any way to what happened in Israel and subsequently in Australia, in front of the Opera House??

It indicates that you might actually know some Muslims personally and might be able to talk from a position of some knowledge on the matter of Muslims.  I know you don't know any Muslims, Soren.  You spout all your Islamophobic bullshit from a position of ignorance.  Tsk, tsk, tsk...  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

Point out to us all which are the ones like you and I... is there a mark on their foreheads or something?

No, but there wasn't a mark on Nazi's foreheads, either, how did we know what they thought?  By questioning them, of course.  Only a fool judged all Germans by the idea that they were all Nazis.  Muslims are the same, you talk to them and discover what they think.  Just as we have discovered what you think, old man.  Tsk, tsk, tsk...   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

So you are in favour of questioning Muslims now?

I have always been in favour of engaging Muslims or any other group in conversation and discover what they really believe in, Freediver.  Tsk, tsk, tsk...  Roll Eyes Roll Eyes
