COVID RAT Home Test

Had s

hit

ty flu symptoms last evening so did a COVID home test. After 15 mins, only one red line (the control line,) so negative.

This morning, sh

itt

y flu symptoms had abated somewhat but on looking at the old COVID test from the evening before, there was a light second blurry red line under the solid red control line.

Just did another test. Only the control red line.

WTF?

They can give false readings after that length of time. You check it at ten/fifteen minutes, and that's the reading you go by.

Take two nurses and go to bed.

"Do not read test results before 15 minutes or after 30 minutes. Results read before 15 minutes or after 30 minutes may lead to a false positive, false negative, or invalid result. Keep testing kit and kit components away from children and pets before and after use. Avoid contact with your eyes or mouth."

Aussie - it’s quite clear to me what all this means.

1. Hop into bed with a cuppa and watch something on TV.

2. Give yourself permission to take a break.

3. Don’t worry about your sub forum - I’ll Mod it for you...just for the next few days of course.
