I think it's more about pragmatism brought about by financial stability which follows political stability.
They know supporting or letting in Palestinian refugees would be a disaster.

None of the Middle-Eastern states want the Palestinians. Not the secularist regimes, nor Shia, nor Sunni ones.

The fault line is with the Shia-Sunni chism with both sects' regimes vying for regional religious and political supremacy.

the Europeans blamed the Jews instead of Hitler for the war.

Jewish banks financed the arms buildup in Germany in the 1930s.
When Hitler couldn't pay them back he went to war.

Given nearly all Jews in Israel speak English and Hebrew, then add in diaspora Jews...

A dumping ground in the sense that Jewish displaced persons after WW2 needed to be out of Europe. Stalin had plans for those in Eastern Europe after the war. Britain and the US did not want to absorb hundreds of thousands of Jewish refugees - notwithstanding that Britain was in no state to take on a refugee wave at the time.

Maybe the British could have asked Australia to take in a tsunami of displaced Jews - i.e. a land with no people settling a people with no land... How would Australia of the 1940s have reacted to that, I wonder.

After the holocaust, middle eastern countries kicked out their remaining Jews. A lot of them ended up in Israel. So those same countries went to war against Israel to try to finish them off. Very similar to what Muhammad did.

In the aftermath of World War II Australia abandoned its previous Anglo-centric immigration policy and permitted immigration of large numbers of people from continental Europe. Large numbers of European Jews, survivors of the Holocaust, arrived in the country from displaced persons camps.

Most Jews in Australia today are from that cohort and from Jews escaping the Soviet Union in the following decades.

Jews, being vigorous, unlike slovenly, lethargic insh'allah Muslims, add vim and vigour.
Muslims come to life and get energised only about killing Jews. Otherwise it is all about insh'allah, whatever will be, will be.

Jews in Palestine did a lot to expel Arabs from the proposed boundaries of the soon-to-be state of Israel.

Stories about the way Jewish-Israeli cops police Arab communities abound in Israel and are generally accepted by Jewish Israelis.

Totally believable when you hear what Australian cops will say in private about dealing with crime among certain ethnicities.

Also what is reported about cops in the US when dealing with certain internal ethnic issues.

Cops generally aren't martyrs for an ethnic cause they don't belong to.
