Have not read the Thread so...if I am covering old ground, tough toe-nails.
I get the outrage. All the dog whistling cries of 'animals,' 'war crimes,' 'kids killed,' 'Aussie Grannie killed,' 'young woman taken as hostage,' etc etc etc.
But, am I the only person on this Planet who has a memory of the State of Israel doing pretty much the same s
hit
to the Palestinians, and other neighbours, on a daily basis, slowly but surely, incrementally as the Sun rises each day, stealing land from them to make part of the innocent as the driven snow State of Israel?
Nah, Tasmania. Is it still available for peace loving Israelis, Monk?
Sure, why not?
There ya go Effendi! The locals don't mind at all. Tasmania it is then! Righteo...full steam ahead, Old Boy!
And part of your final solution is to let the Muslims slaughter any Jews who don't climb aboard your peace train, right Aussie?
And it would all be the Jews' fault?
Oh look, Effendi goes again trying to make into a Hitler with the words 'final solution.'
But, to answer your question Effendi, as far as I am concerned the last scarab standing can have the sh
itt
y ground where once was the State of Israel. All the peace loving Israelis ~ Jews, Muslims, Calathumpians and Purple People Easters) will be enjoying the idyllic and irenic life Tasmania offers.
I can't make everyone happy.
If he can't make the Jews happy, he might as well let the Muslims slaughter them.
I am not in the business of tugging my forelock to any particular religious group.
The State of Israel is geographically located in an insane position creating eternal (and I mean to infinity) hostility.
Just like it was artificially created by the West in the late 40's, it can be moved. Anyone interested in avoiding that eternal conflict would support the notion.
And while it is all very noble and expected of Biden, and the rest of the Western Leaders, I really cannot for the life of me understand why we had to retain any interest in the State of Israel after it was created any more than we should have been interested in Palestine. But, we stuck our nose in, and and we have handed the State of Israel literally trillions of dollars in support (financial and in military hardware) and we have done (in comparison) sweet f
uck
all for the Palestinian.
Why is that so?
Why have we picked a side, especially given it seems to be the side creating the f
uck
ing problem?
We support Ukraine on the basis of a Rules Based Order and support resistance to blatant invasion by Russia, yet the West just white washes, turns a deliberate blind eye to slow incremental incursions and land grabs when the State of Israel does it, and has been doing it for decades on a daily basis.
Cry for me Argentina about the terrible deaths of Israeli citizens slaughtered at the hands of Palestinians but cry the same for the terrible deaths of Palestinian citizens slaughtered at the hands of Israelis.
Do you reckon the rockets of either side give a f
uck
about into whose lounge room they explode, military barracks or that of Mum Dad and the kids watching re-runs of Little House on the Prairie and Bonanza dubbed in Arabic and Yiddish?
Territorial borders should be respected and the land grabbing by State of Israel condemned, even with military support like Ukraine gets if necessary.
Just move the State of Israel. Monk is keen to have it in Tasmania, and why not?
