Well its pretty obvious that the Bird is the Totem animal of North America, especially the USA in the Eagle.
Afterall - they are the best in the air. Their navies and armies are a bit of a struggle, but the USA and even Canada do well in the Aviation department and its their aviation that wins their battles the most.
Also, they are NASA and all things flying into space above.

So what do you think are the Animal Totems of the other 'Regions'?

Antarctica is easy. For all the Scientific, Research Stations and 'communities' that form in the peak seasons - its the Emperor Penguin.
