I shut off the hot water system a week ago (if that) to save on electricity. However, these last few nights and even the middle of the day have not lead me to wishing for a cold shower. I decided not to have a shower after work last night, and had a shower at midday. Even using whatever warmth of the hot water system was left, I could not put  myself under the shower for a complete scrub-over. In 3 hours time, I will be feeling warm enough to want that shower.

It was a warm winter that followed a cool summer. I predicted a record hot summer for this coming season. However, it seems like we won't be seeing that happen this summer, either.

El Nino will be hanging around until March or so (something like that) so the summer will be hot with bushfires everywhere.

El Nino usually means cooler waters off the Qld coast. So, it might mean that the waters absorb warm air and cools the region down a little.

Well, some regions can go against the trend a bit.

Couple years ago RSS increased the warming rate to 0.23°C per decade, enough that a GSM would not actually cool at all. Now the warming rate is 0.25°C per decade.

Notice the three La Nina years there 2019–2022? Slowed but not reversed the warming.

Will we do anything real? Nah, fossil fuel interests will continue their misinformation campaign to keep making megaprofits. Fossil fuel interests were the first to know, from research by the industry, by Exxon etc, that AGW was real and was a massive problem.

Getting to the pointy end.
