Or as the famous African poet, WB Yates put it:

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.

Name a nation-state that doesn't do that.

None have been caught out as consistently as the IDF.

If you consider say the US and UK in Iraq - They really did expect to find WMD's. They bought into their own BS. The IDF knew it was a lie from the start.

The only thing that is consistent is people's gullibility when it comes to made up stories about Jews.

The Jewish people on the whole are very good people. The dishonest long term reputation of the IDF is well known and fully justified as is this current Israeli governments extremism.

Maybe part of the problem maybe not. Don't see the problem as that simple or at all one sided.

The IDF is a force for good:

The Hamas member who paraded Shani Louk’s dead body around Gaza on the back of a pick-up truck HAS BEEN KILLED by the IDF.
And not a moment too soon.

Where Are the International Women’s Organizations as the Shocking Scale of Hamas’s Sexual Violence Against Israeli Women on October 7 Becomes Horrifyingly Clear?

‘They failed us,’ one distinguished scholar says of international women’s rights groups who have refused to call out the atrocities. ‘They failed us.’

Summary

    Israel says troops in Gaza have found the body of hostage Yehudit Weiss, a 65-year-old woman abducted by Hamas on 7 October

    Officials say she was recovered from a "structure adjacent to the Shifa hospital", as the military confirm it's continuing "targeted activity" there

    The hospital director said hundreds of patients were still at the site; a witness earlier told the BBC "soldiers are everywhere, shooting in all directions"

    Israel says its forces found a tunnel shaft and a "booby-trapped vehicle" on the grounds of the hospital

    Mobile phone and internet services are down across Gaza because of a lack of fuel, Palestinian telecoms companies say

    Telecoms firms Jawwal and Paltel say all energy sources sustaining their generators have run out; Israel has blocked all but one fuel delivery to Gaza since the start of the war

    Israel started striking Gaza after Hamas's 7 October attacks, in which 1,200 people were killed and more than 200 hostages were taken

    The Hamas-run health ministry says more than
11,500 people have been killed in Gaza since then

Why would HAMAS build a bunker under the shifa hospital if they were not putting civilian lives at risk....HAMAS do not care about human life and claim evey Palastinian killed is a martyr for the cause???

Fact Check: Did Israel Build Bunker Under Shifa Hospital?

True.

Huh Huh Huh

Dunno why whoever posted that thinks it matters. It's who is using them now and why that matters.

You don't think it matters that Israel may have built the bunker and / or that Hamas are not using it ?

The IDF have a long history of propaganda and lies making it difficult to work out what is true and not.

OMG! You’re seriously sitting there attempting to excuse a terrorist organisation like Hamas.

Read your bloody comment again Puddle Dumbarse Duck! You’ve specifically targeted Israel with that unsupported/unsubstantiated allegation but completely protected HAMAS from its reach.

And such people see fit to perpetuate these invented stories because they have convinced themselves that they are factual.

Because i am brought very much to mind of that when i see many of the cartoons you post.

Well, I prefer a good pithy political cartoon to wading through masses of quoted quoted quotes. Cartoons have a way of cutting through.  Cool

Since I quit being a "rusted on" voter, I have enjoyed poking fun at all sides of politics.  Smiley

Well it looks like these Hamas terrorists will need to surrender instead of hiding behind the sick, the elderly and women and children which they’re USING. THESE are innocent people ie THEIR OWN PEOPLE which are being used as human shields.  This is repugnant, abhorrent and absolutely unacceptable. Hopefully this HAMAS scourge will finally be destroyed and both Palestinian human shields AND Jewish hostages can finally be released.
