They could start by taking in the terrified and suffering civilians of Gaza instead of locking the gates for political reasons.  Arseholes... wait .. ankles!  Three feet lower!!  While ever the Arabs continue to lock up different civilian groups like the former residents of Israel, known as the Palestinians, they will always remain a small race... a primitive race... greedy, barbarous and cruel.

My idea has been thought about before but Egypt doesn't want the Palestinians:

https://www.washingtoninstitute.org/policy-analysis/why-egypt-wont-open-border-i...

Additionally, Egypt has privately held that the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is ultimately Israel’s problem, and that the latter should bear any political or territorial costs of its resolution. During the Trump administration, an American proposal to build infrastructure in Sinai to serve Gaza was roundly rejected by Cairo, which saw it as a potential slippery slope that could draw it into the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Egypt is also concerned that opening the crossing could allow in Hamas and its sympathizers. Hamas is an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood, Sisi’s most serious domestic political rival. And Egypt has faced Islamist terror in the Sinai Peninsula since the 2011 revolution that toppled the Mubarak regime.

For all these reasons, shortly after Hamas took over Gaza in 2007, Egypt sealed the border. By 2018, according to Human Rights Watch, Egypt had razed the entire Sinai city of Rafah on the Egyptian side of the borders, destroying thousands of homes and displacing 70,000 persons, to create a nearly mile-wide buffer zone to prevent the movement of weapons and terrorists in tunnels between Egypt and Gaza. To emphasize the point, Egypt even flooded those tunnels. Two years later, in 2020, Egypt built a 20-foot reinforced concrete wall that reaches 16 feet below ground.

This wall has helped ensure the war in Gaza doesn’t spill over into Egypt.

Do you concur with Aquascoot, FD?

Should two and a half million people be forcibly exiled to the Sinai desert?

Cheers.

Good idea - why not let the Palestinians have the entire Sinai desert?
The coastal areas are still OK.
Gaza is on that same coast.

It's in another country, dear. Do you support the Palestinians being exiled to the Great Sandy Desert?

Why or why not?

Anything to solve the problem.

It's near Al-ʿArīsh - part of Egypt:

https://www.britannica.com/place/Egypt

Al-ʿArīsh, also spelled El-Arish, town and largest settlement of the Sinai Peninsula in the northeastern section, on the Mediterranean coast, the capital of Egypt’s Shamāl Sīnāʾ (Northern Sinai) muḥāfaẓah (governorate). It was under Israeli military administration from 1967 until 1979, when it returned to Egyptian rule. It is near the mouth of the Wadi al-ʿArīsh, which is the longest seasonal watercourse of the Sinai.

bobby,

why do fellow arab countries refuse to help them?
why is saudi signing a deal with israel
why have morroco, jordan , egypt and the emirates all recognised the state of israel.
why are the saudis getting israel to help train their military.

behind closed doors, the most important man in the middle east MBS probably hopes the palestinians do all move to canada and sweden

then he can get on with the Sunni arab domination of the middle east unimpeeded by this inconvenient war

One of the Muslims we had here provided an interesting answer - it is important that the Muslims never surrender, because then Islam would force them to comply with the terms of the surrender. So instead, they must ensure that hostilities never cease, that is, that people keep dying. He wanted the war to continue because the inevitable glorious Muslim victory over the Jews is just around the corner. The Muslims are happy to continue dying, because Islam has deluded them into thinking they are winning. They are the living embodiment of Monty Python's black knight.

Egypt and Israel have already agreed on securing the Sinai Desert, dear.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Egypt%E2%80%93Israel_peace_treaty

Of course Egypt doesn't want two and a half million people added to its population.

Gazans have a home in Gaza. All those buildings currently being bombed have people called owners and tenants. Their occupants are people known as citizens - of Israel.

People are also known as humans - with human rights under the UNDHR. Israel is a signatory to this declaration. It is illegal under international treaty law to exile or extricate citizens from its national borders.

Allah Uakbar, no?

Sorry - Halle-lujah (G_d is great).

National sovereignty, innit. You've always been a fan of that, yes?

So I'm curious. Should the Prince of Saudi Arabia get a say over our citizens too, dear?

Then he can get on with the Sunni Arab domination of Australiasia, no?
