But what makes you feel so confident, given the history and conflicts in Palestine that Israel will seed control of Gaza strip after 6 months?
Palestine took control of Gaza in when Israel gave it back in 2005. Every jew left Gaza in 2005 so this occupation nonsense with Gaza is bullshit there has been zero zip zilch Israeli occupation since 2005.
Egypt controlled Gaza from 1948- 1967 they lost it in the 6 day war.
Perhaps it would be better with Egypt taking it back they don't tolerate Muslim Brotherhood terrorists. Nobody gives a stuff when muslims are killing muslims.
The muslims are never outraged with sectarian violence in Islam if a jew kills a muslim it's the end of humanity.
This Quran verse might explain it for some reason people leave out the highlighted bit.
Quote:Because of that,
We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely.https://legacy.quran.com/5/32 The Israelis gave the Palestinians 3000 hydroponic greenhouses worth $14 million when they left Gaza, did the Palestinians thank them for that?
Quote:Looters strip Gaza greenhouses
Sept. 14, 2005
Palestinians looted dozens of greenhouses on Tuesday, walking off with irrigation hoses, water pumps and plastic sheeting in a blow to fledgling efforts to reconstruct the Gaza Strip.
American Jewish donors had bought more than 3,000 greenhouses from Israeli settlers in Gaza for $14 million last month and transferred them to the Palestinian Authority. Former World Bank President James Wolfensohn, who brokered the deal, put up $500,000 of his own cash.Palestinian police stood by helplessly Tuesday as looters carted off materials from greenhouses in several settlements, and commanders complained they did not have enough manpower to protect the prized assets. In some instances, there was no security and in others, police even joined the looters, witnesses said.
“We need at least another 70 soldiers. This is just a joke,” said Taysir Haddad, one of 22 security guards assigned to Neve Dekalim, formerly the largest Jewish settlement in Gaza.
“We’ve tried to stop as many people as we can, but they’re like locusts.”The failure of the security forces to prevent scavenging and looting in the settlements after Israel’s troop pullout Monday raised new concerns about Gaza’s future.
The Palestinian leader is under intense pressure from his people and the international community to stop the growing lawlessness in Gaza, where rival militant groups are jockeying for power.
As Abbas spoke, hundreds of masked Hamas gunmen wielding rifles and grenade launchers paraded through the streets of a nearby refugee camp.
The greenhouses are a centerpiece of Palestinian plans for rebuilding Gaza after 38 years of Israeli occupation.
The Palestinian Authority hopes the high-tech greenhouses left by the Israelis will provide jobs and export income for Gaza’s shattered economy.
During a tour of Neve Dekalim, Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmed Qureia implored Palestinians to leave the structures intact. “These greenhouses are for the Palestinian people,” he said. “We don’t want anyone to touch or harm anything that can be useful for our people.”https://www.nbcnews.com/id/wbna9331863 With all the foreign aid Hamas gets Gaza could be like Dubai yet Hamas turned it into another Islamic shithole.
If you look at Gaza Strip at its conception, its alot larger than what it is right now. And over the decades, this area was chipped away bit by bit. Israel never actually 'gave' Gaza strip back. Rather, it blockaded by Israel illegally. Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has said one reason for the Gaza pullout was to strengthen Israel’s grip on its main settlement blocs in the West Bank, where 246,000 settlers live. In 2009, the UN council resolution 1860 called for lifting of the Gaza blockade, but it was ignored.
Israel controls what goes in and out of the Gaza strip. The economic blockade was so severe, that even once busy strips of shops closed due to not enough supplies. Israel was never going to let in enough into Gaza to turn it into Dubai. It has no industry, no power, and barely any infrasture. And this again, is in direct violation of international law, which recognizes two state solution.
