I think Bibi has been sucked into this by Hamas - he is playing their game.

100s of little Palestinian kids are being killed every day.
The whole Arab and Persian world is up in arms and
will cause Israel to be attacked by them and may even lead to WW3.

I don't expect the Israelis to die so we don't have to fret about WWIII. Even if everything you say is true, it has no value until you come up with a better plan.

A better plan would have been to go into Gaza with soldiers and tanks without
destroying the place by bombing it day and night.

i agree the bombing is bad optics.

and i wouldnt go into gaza and sacrifice fine young isrealis who are brave and are, indeed, "living gems"

cut the food, water, power (you are fighting a war and they havent realesed the hostages, so you have a right /obligation not to provide fuel and food for your enemy)
and just have a seige.

the hungry people of gaza will riot and the egyptians will have to let them across the border or they look like assholes.

not one more jewish soldier need die.

if goerge clooney and madonna and sean penn  and the muslim mayor of london and the muslim counsillors of bankstown want to do something, they can be inspired by dunkirk.

go to the mediteranean and get a few thousand fishing vessels and evacuate off the beaches of gaza .

they could do something more then virtue signal.

but wasting bombs and young israelis seems a silly move.

seige warfare is the name of the game

That's bullshit.

How many times has Hamas attacked Israel?

Did they fail to learn what happened in previous times or did the Iranian Ayatollah saying the Mahdi is near make them think Allah would help them this time?

If they don't do the job properly this time they will have to do it again in another couple of years.

Apologise to me.

About 45 percent of the Gaza Strip’s housing units,
or 200,000 units, have been destroyed or badly damaged, Palestinian officials say.

More than 7,028 Palestinians have been killed over the past 20 days,
including 2,913 children and 1,709 women.

You missed the point Bobby.

No I didn't - it's not my war to fight.
I just don't see the reason to turn Gaza into a pile of smoking rubble?
Over 45% of all buildings are destroyed before Israel has gone in.

You are telling the Israelis to do something that you would not do yourself.

So you're back to Stalingrad again, eh?

Sorry, Israel, put those bombs away, please. Aquascoot's changed his mind again.

I thought military responses have to be proportionate?

It is the same choice you would make. So ask yourself. I suspect it has something to do with not wanting to die.

Hypothetical analogy:

The cops thought there might be a bank robber in your street

so they bulldoze every house in the street and kill everyone they see.

Are you changing your mind about what you would do in the Israeli's situation? Merely repeating that it is not your fight ought not render you incapable of putting yourself in their shoes.

Just saw a good one. "Even if a HAMAS rocket failed and hit the hospital, it is still Israel's fault for blockading Gaza, and preventing them getting decent missiles."

Yes - I would volunteer to go in by myself and
shoot as many Hamas as I could find to liberate the Gazan people.
