Lets look at the facts then. But dont be angry.
Here is UN resolution 181.
https://www.britannica.com/topic/United-Nations-Resolution-181
If you look at the map. The area in orange is the original UN partition plan.
Now have a look at the current map.
https://www.reuters.com/graphics/ISRAEL-PALESTINIANS/MAPS/movajdladpa/
Clearly, the area around the Gaza strip had being illegal annexed off. In fact, much of the HAMAS attacks that took place, is within UN recognized Palestinian land, NOT Israel land. These areas are occupied lands. People were driven from those lands, into the current Gaza area with a firm blockade of sea, land and air.
That resolution was in 1947.
Israel accepted the 1947 partition, the Arabs didn't but started a war instead. And another in 1967 when Israel occupied the then
Egyptian, Jordanian and Syrian Occupied Territoiries of Gaza, WB and Golan. And another in 1973. And Intifadas Galore since.
How many two states solutions have th ed Muslims rejected since 1947? Five.
Frank. Because, each time the Palestinian territories got smaller and smaller. The last serious attempt at two state solution was the Oslo Accord. And if you read the details here
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oslo_Accords
Basically, in terms of security. The new state of Palestine is only allowed a police force. Its still very restricted in who they can trade or communicate with. They will still be under Israeli control on travel. So in effect, a small colonial state.
And even with that much concession, guess what happened? PM Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated by ultra right wing terrorists in Israel. And Yasser Arafat? Swiss medical experts believed that he died of Polonium poisoning.
And I agree with you on the occupied territories. They are occupied.
