Its such a difficult situations. The Jewish people had suffered so much over so many centuries in Europe, Africa and Middle East. And when they finally have their homeland - much due to discrimination and holocaust from their host countries. They found themselves in a land surrounded by people who also does not like them, as well as complex geopolitics of greater powers like Russia and USA. So for survival, they have to go to the extremes. But make no mistakes. They know that their extreme actions will also cause extreme reactions. And this is the land of Middle East in a nutshell.
