150 beats per minute and over an hour in a sauna?

That's bad for your health.
I could never stand more than 5 minutes in a sauna.

I do 3 lots of 20 minutes with a short cool swim in between.

Have a look at the HR graph, my HR climbs steadily then at about the 20m mark starts to peak. That's when I get out and cool off.

People who regularly do sauna have much lower rates of heart attack/stroke.

So heat plus humidity helps people live longer? Hence why so many oldies like Queensland!
I’m a bit like Bobby, lucky to last 5 mins in a sauna.
I don’t mind those infra red saunas though.

I've never tried an IR sauna, sauna enthusiast tend to not like them.

5 mins, harden up, Bobby.

After 5 minutes in a sauna I feel like I'm gonna die.
I have to get out.

The feeling like you're gonna die bit is whats doing you good.
How about a 3deg cold plunge?

I hate cold water too.    Embarrassed

I actually don't like cold showers, but an ice plunge at 3deg is so frikken cold it numbs you.
For the next 6-8 hours you've got more energy than you know what to do with.

I’ve done that almost snap freeze chamber thingy (forgot what it’s called) where it just about freezes you and once I’m out with a warm towelling robe on… it’s an amazing feeling. Like a relief if anything  Grin

Yesterday was cold plunge, another 1 hour weights session, a long walk.

Today is total bludge day, well a bludge for me, a walk and a surf.

I know LTYC (Chimera) uses Electricity Shock Therapy to get himself up and running.

I've had an incredibly demanding week, having to be onsite at 630 or 7 nearly every day and 10 hour days.

Only one trip to the gym but still every morning I get up early enough to do a 15min hiit session then a cold plunge before I walk out the door.

Heart rate looks about normal. Mine has always been on the low side due to sport, fitness level while young. My resting rate is typically in the 50's. A little higher would be good but since it isn't a change it has always been like that it isn't an issue.

Your high rate should be a lot higher but this is only one sample, it likely is normally higher.
