New Name for The Tavern

I'd would have discussed this at The Tavern but Agnes has me banned there for absolutely no credible reason.

I recall that when she came back to Ozpol after being away for quite a while (she does that frequently) she begged FD to create and hand to her as Mod a new MRB. There was discussion then about what to call it, and Agnes wanted it called The Tavern. FD obliged.

Now, she seems to want to change it. I call horse

1. She is only trying to create traffic in the adrenaline rush of being made Mod there again. That will wane off soon enough, in time.

But,

here is what I say is the real reason

2. If FD agrees to change the name, then you watch, Monk will jump in and demand a name change for Cats and Critters, and he will use any change of name for The Tavern as the precedent.

That sticks out like the proverbial canine testes.

You ain't fooling me Monk. I am not surprised Agnes fell for it.

Well, I hate to admit it - but I think you're right Aussie.
Monk has had his hand up Agnes's arse for a long time now.
He knows she's very manipulatable and he exploits her well.
Poor thing.
But as we have seen. FreeDiver has been granting his Christmas Wishes to Monk (mostly), Mothra and if John Smith has a cry, he too might be rewarded.
Any and all changes on this Forum of late have been directly at Monk's demand and ideas. Even Mothra wanted Women's Issues gone and so it is, as Gordon has shafted it to the void of his Board - because quite frankly, he didn't take that Board to be 'Women's Issues', etc.

Pretty sexist really and this happened upon Mothra's ADVICE to FD.
