Wow! Just watched this rare movie called Nightfall. Done in 1988. At first one might think they are watching a B-Grade obscure movie that only North Americans could like. But as you progress, the characters stand out far more than the actors themselves (before they become 'stars' above the character themselves). It's a Science Fiction but also a Religious Faith(s) movie about a Planet that has existed in the Eternal Light of six Suns in their System for ages that long to forget that there may have been previous Civilisations - destroyed by the coming of the Nightfall. Where 'another' Planet suddenly appears and casts an eclipse that lasts what feels like a lifetime for the sentient beings that inhabit the world - blocking out the perfect alignment of all six suns behind it. Thus they spake upon the darkness that for the first time - has taken their life away from them and the words came forth from around the globe, as the darkness revealed itself to both sides of the Planet at the same time. One side 'denied' the light, the other 'lost' the light. "My God, its full of Stars."
You could say that this movie from way back 1988 has reached a very 'Alien' quality about it, beyond so old - but also new to many now, that considered it to be 'rare'.
