Here presented [below], why you should, THROW AWAY your 'modern version' of the Bible.
[....all 'modern versions' of the Bible have been corrupted, by WOKE/HUMANIST minds.]

Examine the evidence, and compare the 'old' and 'modern version' verses.

Some words, AND SOME ENTIRE VERSES, have been omitted, from the 'modern versions' of the Bible.

EXAMPLE...

NSV [New International Version] Bible
Matthew 9:13 But go and learn what this means: 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice.' For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners."

KJV Bible
Matthew 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

[i.e. the omitted words are underlined. so in this instance, the emphasis upon personal repentance has been 'removed' from the 'modern versions' of the Bible.]

I was given my first (and only) bible free from a
Methodist deaconess who taught [sic] us religious
education [sic] when I was in primary school, at
around 11 years of age.

Even at that non-worldly-experienced age, I always
regarded its stories in the same way as "Jack and The
Beanstalk" or "Goldilocks" or "Aesop's Fables", that is,
didactic by nature and intent, but purely fiction.

By my early teens I was effectively an atheist, having
long thrown my silly bible into the garbage, and by 16
or so I was totally atheistic, and have been so for around
70 years now.

Atheists in Australia now outnumber each of the
Roman Catholic and Protestant religions—according
to the 2021 Census. Which means more of us are
waking up to the lies and absurdities and the pointlessness
of this antiquated collection of fantasy fiction.

Biblical exegesis is as old as the Bible. Textual exegesis is as old as texts.

You prefer one translation over another - fine. Learn Hebrew and Greek if you want to drink at the source.
