A historian traced werewolf sightings through time and space and correlated that with floods in each locality where the werewolf “sightings” took place.

In every case of a werewolf sighting there had been a flood of the local rye fields prior to the sighting.

Ergot is a fungus that contains chemicals similar to LSD. It grows when rye, occasionally barley, is flooded during the growing season.
