"Remember, as Christians we should be "all thing to all men" which probably means hiding our beliefs."

Quite so Frank, but remember that religion, like gender, is fluid.  If I may quote the noted historian Philomena Cunk: "Jesus was born Jewish but later converted to Carpentry."

The ignorance within the above comments sadden me.

From 1 Corinthians Chapter 9 :

19 Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible.
20 To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law.
21 To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law.
22 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.
23 I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.

I've found that IF we read the verses we choose to quote online IN CONTEXT it will help us understand what they mean...just that little bit more.

Good quote Lisa,
thou hath shown your superior knowledge of the Bible
compared to all others at Ozpolitic.

Merry Xmas.

Should be "Thee hast" Bobby, 'thee' being the objective form of 'thou'...

Really

what about -

Psalms 71:20-23 King James Version (KJV)

Thou, which hast shewed me great and sore troubles, shalt quicken me again, And shalt bring me up again from the depths of the earth. Thou shalt increase my greatness, And comfort me on every side. I will also praise thee with the psaltery, even thy truth, O my God: Unto thee will I sing with the harp, O thou Holy One of Israel. My lips shall greatly rejoice when I sing unto thee; And my soul, which thou hast redeemed.

Try again Bobs, the bible is not an archaic grammar textbook...
