Aren't they all hard tail choppers? - that means you can't go over bumps without wrecking your back. They are only good for posing along cafe and nightclub strips and that's OK if it's what you want to do. I wouldn't know - I've never ridden a chopper.

in the good old days they banned the TZ 750 Yamaha 4 cylinder 2 Stroke
from Grand Prix racing because it went too fast - 210 mph or 338km/hr.
The reasoning was that no one could survive a crash at that speed.

They changed the spec to 500cc 2 strokes and a few years later they went just as fast.
Now the Moto GP bikes are even faster.
It's all getting a bit ridiculous - don't you think?

It some ways it should be limited to 250cc 2 strokes for the safety of the riders.
No race is worth someone's life.
Also - the 2 stroke racing was far more exciting.
Moto GP is a bit boring now.

I liked the 250 GP bikes they were fast handled well.

We had 250cc production bike racing here with RD/RZ Yammies KR1 Kwakas and RGV 250s. Cheap close racing.

They have brought in rules to slow down Moto GP or they would be even faster.

Casey said they should get rid of most of the electronics like TC and anti wheelie and put it back to the rider. I agree with this.

Everyone who gets on a racetrak understands the potential danger they still choose to do it.

They can't control the bikes now without the electronic aids -
they are just too powerful.
I preferred the 250cc racing - more fair and is still competitive, exciting and fast enough.
I don't want to see riders getting killed for my entertainment -
look at the Isle of Man TT - insane.
The Isle of Man TT races have seen 267 fatalities since they began the Mountain Course in 1911.

The big bike manufacturers wouldn't agree - they want to sell big bikes.
All the 1000cc superbikes have 200hp or more right off the showroom floor.

Yoshimura exhaust and minor tune puts it just over 80Hp which is more than the old CB750 Honda. Revs to 16,000 Rpm will do 140 mph. Being 400 CC might be easier to keep license. Sound is awesome.
