So who starts generational culture wars?
Dec 26th, 2023 at 8:19am

Those born between 20 and 30 years back from the current year.

Within the Anglosphere, at least, from ages 15 to 19 we begin to affect the socio-cultural mood.

Between 20 and 30 our generational peers control the socio-cultural mood.

Over 30 to 65, we are forced by our age to relinquish control of the sociocultural mood and begin to take control of our respective societies' economic outcomes.

Who started 'cancel culture', 3+ gender identities, within the Anglosphere's socio-culture, for example? Late Millennials and early Zoomers.

They'll soon run out of friends at the rate they're going - as fast as they run out of balls... and good riddance...

They will lose control of the cultural mood by the end of this decade when the baton will pass to late Zoomers and early Gen-Alpha.

As the cultural mood of the generation controlling it is a dialectic between it and the previous generational controllers, there may be a backlash against the likes of, say, 'cancel culture', but who knows whether the cultural mood will be more ultra-progressiveness or ultra-conservatism.

Good thinking, Eckhart!  Take two jelly beans.  They do say that each generation responds - at least to some degree - to the excesses of the previous one, by going about things in a diametrically opposite way.

I'm for a snack and back to bed... heart surgery you know... bloody hell I'm sick of this... they say the last thing to go is your m-m-m-m-m-mind ... (gurgle)...

It's a generational case of 'Whatever they did, we're against it'.

Sounds more like the 'Media' (Music/Movies) Generations, more than the Political ones, for starters.

Also - Black People around the world are laughing  Grin at how the White Race has turned out to be nothing more than INFERIOR homosexuals, transvestites, transexuals and other weirdos with no idea about who or what they are.

The Black Man has turned the White Man into his 'biatch' !

The youth culture of those between 20 and 30 controls all aspects of the cultural mood and begins the transformation of the political mood and leanings, given by the time they are in their late 20s they have been eligible to vote for 10 years.

Full control of the political mood is shared among all those eligible to vote, with dominance determined by generational numbers - it's why Boomers have maintained political control for so long, given they are the largest of all living generations.

Look! There is the 'orthodox' or 'true' Politics that comes from the Great Britain side and influence upon this country.
There is also the 'Media' or 'fake' Politics that comes from the USA based upon only 'power' and 'deepest pockets'.

If you're talking about Generations in regards to what comes out of America - then they are all 'Media' (Music/Entertainment) orientated cultural generations and their 'moods'.

As for true Political generations, who a lot are influenced by the Christian upbringing, especially Protestant and don't adhere to the opinions, behaviours and moods of the Media kids.

...well, what 'Generations' are you talking about Mr Eccy?

In democratic politics, the mood and leanings are determined by numbers.

To date, the Boomers have maintained control - they are now beginning to lose that control as the early Boomers die or become incapacitated.

Their influence will be minimal within 10 years.

Boomers' inheritance going to their kids will mean wild drug parties, attempted theft by so called friends, drunken car crashes, soft jail terms, etc

But I assume some kids are good people

Boomers’ kids will all be at least in their mid 50s, (late Gen-x and early millennials), before they inherit so if they’ve still got it in them to throw wild drug parties then… more power to them!

Yes I forgot ... it's the kids of the 50 year olds that are being destructive to themselves and to those around them

Police have have grown in numbers to handle them
