But I think the gender identity nonsense is the straw that broke the camels back
With regards the general population accepting woke and the ideology of woke.

Normal run of the mill people
What I like to call real Australians or real Americans or real Canadians
Just aren't going to swallow this gender identity nonsense

They think it's silly

But when it starts getting taught in schools
They will think it's dangerous

At that point woke will end

The problem for the lefty intellectual
And it is a big problem
Is that the backlash could send community sentiment
Very harshly back against the accepted gay and lesbian community

The lesbian and gay community really should have been people who saw themselves as having won the battle
And they should have disappeared off into the sunset
Instead they were people who would not take yes for an answer
Kept harassing the general population
Kept pushing the boundary
And have moved into classic overreach

They have probably made things much worse for themselves
But when your primary purpose is to wake up in the morning and run to the trenches to fight the war
You tend to keep fighting even when there is no enemy

Now you have made an enemy out of the very people who accepted you
This is extremely foolish behaviour
