Since women are currently overpaid more than men by 7-10% per hour actually worked - if they want equal weekly earnings they'll just have to work longer hours....meantime the gender wage gap needs to be brought into line with reality......

If they lie to you about one thing, it's a fair bet they lie about everything... see the 'voice' and the missing 26 pages ....  NOBODY is that stupid and can't do primary school maths to work out that if you pay a bloke $10 an hour and he works for 50 hours he EARNS $500, and if you pay a sheila $1.07 and she works 40 hours she EARNS $420.80... meantime if the bloke works 40 hours he EARNS $400....

Well - the theory of equity is in for all to see - all should be paid the same as all others, regardless of the hours they work or the type of work they do - so why is an unemployed person not paid the same as a politician?

Where is the equity in a pensioner not being paid the same as the Prime Minister?

I'm surrounded by idiots... on another line - why is Voldemort not pointing out these simple truths and trusting the Australian people to know the truth 61-39?  Frightened of losing the women's vote if he doesn't kiss their arse?  If that's what you have to do to get their vote, their vote isn't worth getting... the women of Australia are far smarter than that and don't want to see their sons short-changed to suit some mad Communist idea.

Let's make it easier - and let's ignore penalty rates for excess hours just for convenience.... pay a sheila $22 an hour and she works 40 hours = 880 ... pay a bloke $20 an hour and he works 50 hours = $1000 .....

Now if we add penalty rates the boke should be paid (assuming for convenience a 40 hour week) an extra $50 (at least depending on how the extra hours fit into a day) = $1050.

This is what people EARN... if you paid the sheila $20 an hour same as the bloke she would only EARN $800.

Same applies to everyone else..... even if you are paid the same or even more than someone else per hour you work - you still need to put in the hours to get the same EARNINGS.

Easy as pie.... now show me the mother in Australia who wants to see her little boy robbed of his fair income and opportunities in life for a soft and easy well paid job instead of working in danger in the hot sun, cold and rain etc to satisfy the demands of a few middle class over-fat sheilas who have simply no skills or ideas but think they are entitled to sit all day in air conditioned comfort and absolute safety and come up with lies to justify paying women more ...

Why isn't the LNP stating this in simple terms and trusting the people of Australia?  Because they are just a rabble shitscared of losing women's votes and with the same level of idea on reality.... and that ONLY reality is that they do not feel beholden to the people of Australia - their view, same as Labor's, is that those people are there to be told what they will and won't accept and what is reality by their 'betters'... and nothing more.

It's an old problem here going back to the Settlement Days of absolute rulers and powerless peasants.

Aside - imagine being an Albanese and being known by the name of an arsehole who duffed your mother while he already had a wife etc back 'home' in Italy, and abandoned her at the first opportunity to bring-a da little-a boy up on her own .... maybe that's where he got his ability to lie.... it's genetic .. a WOG thing...
