Look at it this way.

It takes $800 to make a Surfboard in Australia.
Which is then sold at, say - $1300.

Chinese made Surfboards sold in Australia at $1100-$1200.
Is made for a mere $300.

The profit threshold of Australian-made is $500
Chinese-made is $800-$900.

So all of you tell me which Surfboard is the 'Male' and which one is the 'Female'?? The Australian or the Chinese made one??

crap ... whilst the award rates of pay are the same, actual pay rates can differ greatly depending on sex. I knew of a case where a head chef in a restaurant was paid $10 000 a year more, then a female head chef in the same position at the same restaurant. The only thing that changed was their sex and their pay

nothing to do with any 'wage gap .... and since you earn what you earn = rate of pay x hours worked = there is no earnings gap, either - therefore no reason whatsoever to continue with a distorted education system to favour girls, affirmative action, preference in promotion and allocation to high paying career courses to get them more money coming in for their lower hours of work, and so forth....

That is discrimination pure and simple - also racism, sexism, ageism ... you know the drift...

I don't know why you bother arguing - you haven't been right yet.... just dogmatic - watch out that your karma doesn't run over your dogma....
