An Australian Company in Pyrmont, Sydney - can build a submersible to take James Cameron down to 13kms of insane ocean depth pressures 'on budget'. Yet Australia can't even support itself to build three big subs for a depth of 500m only! 

Has the ADF pushed to have 'Drones' in production specifically designed for warfare, here in Australia?
I think not. Even though, Australia has had many 'world records' by Drone enthusiasts over the years.

Why on earth would anyone volunteer for such incompetence?
