lambs were selling for $1 each not long ago -
the farmers couldn't give them away in some cases
yet the prices of meat were very high.
It's extortion of almost a monopoly -
there are are only 2 large supermarket chains:
Coles and Woolies.

So go drive directly to a farm for everything you need, tell us how much you spend on petrol.

No - the supermarkets can just give us reasonable prices where they still make a good profit
and everyone would be happy.
This is all about monopolies and extreme human greed.

Everytime I see people whinge about supermarket prices it's all processed crap like pop tarts or boysenberry swirls cookie dough ice cream. Stupid people buy crap and deserve to be ripped off. No sympathy.

just don’t gouge them for $3.55 on a pack of lamb chops because that's going TOO FAR !!!!

Monk is an idiot who should have bought a little unit in Adelaide so
he could be close to his family
and not have had to mow lawns or look after any property in his elderly years
but he went to Tasmania and bought a house and land
in an area that is only nice for 3 months of the year in summer.

The rest of the time he is right in the middle of the roaring 40s
with the Antarctic circumpolar wind and sea currents -
only 2,645 kms from the continent of Antarctica.
and he even has a tropical dog with a 2mm long coat -
the poor thing must be freezing in Winter.

No one should listen to Monk - he's not all there.
