Two men have been charged after a horrifying alleged abduction in South Brisbane in which a woman was allegedly tortured at gunpoint.

Emergency services were called to a Cobourg Street home in Forest Lake about 2.15pm on Friday following reports of a serious assault.

A 43-year-old Doolandella woman was found at the property suffering from multiple non-life threatening injuries.

She was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.

Later that day, police arrested four men at a Jarvis Street property in Stafford Heights and two of them have since been charged.

A 20-year-old man and 18-year-old man have been charged with one count each of kidnapping, extortion, torture, assault occasioning bodily harm whilst armed, armed robbery, dangerous conduct with a weapon, possess shortened firearms, enter dwelling with intent, enter dwelling with intent whilst armed, and wilful damage.

Where are the men identified as "African", Bobby? Aren't Australians capable of cruelty? Tsk, tsk, tsk... Roll Eyes

They were connected to the African Drill RAP gangs dopey. They're Africans targeting Vietnamese drug lords. Roll Eyes

Question: why have some Africans and some Vietnamese - unlike those above - turned into model citizens?

And some Ozzies turned into crims?

You will find economic circumstances are inplicated...currently there are over a million involuntary un/underemployed in Oz.

those boys were in private schools (probably luvvie school waived the school fees).and they came from a place with an average monthly income of $10 US.

In the US, if you are part of a group who kills someone, even if you didn't shoot the gun,you all cop a murder charge and suffer accordingly.

We should have that law here.

Societies with large extremes in wealth are more violent than those in which everyone is poor.

The most well-established environmental determinant of levels of violence is the scale of income differences between rich and poor. More unequal societies tend to be more violent.

A police officer has suffered a serious slashing wound during an arrest after a car chase in southeast Queensland.

The male Senior Constable had confronted a man who emerged from a car being chased by police when it stopped in Carole Park in Ipswich about 1am on Sunday.

The alleged offender, a 37-year-old man from Cherbourg, was arrested and charged with resisting arrest.
