The ages of 10 to 14 years is a time in a little criminal's life where they can be treated quite leniently. Had that bastard, that stabbed the grandmother, been 10 years old at the time of the "robbery with violence" he would be doing about 5 years in prison (based on leniency due to his age). But, he would likely die in prison. At 15 years of age, a similar crime (such as the one that f-tard caused) would mean he would not be getting out of prison for a long time. And he probably would not make it out alive anyway.

"Deaths in custody"??? More like prison executions at the request of the public.

It is an act of colonisation. These fleeing people just happen to be men of working age. They hop on a plane and head to the whitest countries they have heard about... perhaps as a result of their knowledge of cricket or something. Then they set up their residence. Later, the family moves over to be with them.

The teenaged killer was probably one of those that grew up in Australia long after his family was selected for resettlement. The facts will come out eventually, to put an end to this debate that the teen was suffering PTSD or whatever bs story that the defence could argue.

Every one of them that travels by plane half way around the world to a country nearby there intended destination(like here & France) and pays thousands to hop on a leaky boat to enter illegally after they dump their IDs/passports overboard and claim to be refugees/asylum seekers are nothing but country shopping economic illegal aliens.

And the ones that are bought here by our govts policies on immigration like these Sudanese, look how grateful they are at being bought out of the strife torn shytehole that is their country. Roll Eyes

So why would a govt. bring in 600k to 1 million migrants over a couple of years when there is a housing & economic crisis?

As for arriving with nothing ... so what?

They had nothing before so they had nothing to lose.

They don't end up with nothing when they get here ...

they get housed, paid welfare, free medical .... none of which they would have had in their country.

Those less well off Aussies you speak of don't get a free ride.

Indeed , the Greens at least want to rebuild Oz's public housing which the 2 majors have run down, since the triumph of neoliberalism; "there is no such thing as public money", the ignoramus Thatcher said; but even Menzies maintained sufficient public housing to ensure housing for everyone - and keep a lid on private-sector house prices.
