No. Not at all. We should be cutting this "closing the gap" funding so that indigenous people would not be seen as a spoiled demographic. Let them sink or swim on their own talents. No more jobs specifically for the indigenous-only people. No more race-based organisations for indigenous people. They can use the facilities that other Australians use. And if they start rioting about the equality that they are receiving, then they can start being imprisoned at appropriate rates. The money saved on not wasting for indigenous funding will more than cover their imprisonment.

That wasn't clear from your original statement, UnSub. Indigenous Australians tried to work out things from their own experience and so on, but Whites stopped them for generations. It was very clear that I thought that indigenous Australians should receive the same amount of help that non-indigenous Australians do. That would mean disbanding indigenous institutions that are taxpayer-funded.

For a demographic that went from a nomadic lifestyle of temporary mud huts, eating grubs, nuts, vegetables, fruits, fish and occasionally animals, to one that is fed every day, and has a roof over their heads, it is hardly fair that indigenous people get paid more and have more opportunities than non-indigenous people.

Let us face it, if the newly formed (early 20th century) Australian government did not decide to save indigenous people, we might well see indigenous people a part of history books, but not part of modern history.
