Yes: Trump started a trade war with China, cut taxes and increased the deficit (a deficit which doesn't matter, but that's another story) and Biden is doubling down with the IRA and other bills which directly oppose free-trade/ free-market rules.

It's certainly helped the US economy to prevent China becoming the world's biggest economy - for the time being, at least.

("Not on my watch" said Biden...).
