I think your expression "insular" is the keyword. I'd imagine an established
group of gay blokes could be a bit wary of newcomers until after a few visits.
It's a fact that—unfortunately—any larger group of gays has to be sensitive
to outside influences and/or negative perceptions.

Have you had any success with approaching other gay groups?

People who are intersex have genitals, chromosomes or reproductive
organs that don't fit into a typical male/female sex binary. Their genitals
might not match their reproductive organs, or they may have traits of both.

Some intersex children, such as those with ambiguous genitalia, are
surgically or hormonally altered to create more socially acceptable(?)
external sex characteristics.

Both intersex and transgender individuals suffer from gender dysphoria.

Intersex people have nothing to do with the transgender agenda ... kindly desist from insulting them.

Intersex are not messed up in the head like Transgender, even if their 'sexual' zone is.
Intersex welcome medical procedure that can allow them to feel more 'normal' with everyone else - Part of the Team.
Intersex don't welcome the insanities of Transgenders as something to feel akin or associated with, even if Transgenders try to exploit the Intersex plight, for their own selfish agendas and narratives.

If anyone has suffered the most from all this Trans, Woke grab for power via the Media's manipulation of Politics.
It's the Intersex. Those who had no choice being born the way they are and at times thrown into the basket with the basket-cases of Woke-Trans flippancy of sexual dysfuntions and victimhood emotional blackmails.

My heart truly goes out to the Intersex who must now suffer the false associations instigated by the Woke-Trans, etc and rejected by those who are not. They cop it from both sides that throw missiles against each other overhead.
They have been made a mockery by the Woke-Trans and even Gay-Lesbian and all the rest or should I dare say - have been 'mocked' by such selfishness by those with too much freedom to pervert nature via 'technological' corruptions? For I've read, heard and seen many an Intersex person say "They wouldn't wish it on anyone."

People who are intersex have genitals, chromosomes or reproductive
organs that don't fit into a typical male/female sex binary. Their genitals
might not match their reproductive organs, or they may have traits of both.

Some intersex children, such as those with ambiguous genitalia, are
surgically or hormonally altered to create more socially acceptable(?)
external sex characteristics.

Both intersex and transgender individuals suffer from gender dysphoria.

Intersex (or the correct term now is DSDs - Differences of Sexual Development) is not remotely Gender Dysphoria. Those who have DSD are still either male or female. A simple blood test will either show male or female DNA/Chromosomes.

Intersex is NOT considered Gender Dysphoria. And, in fact, those with DSD have asked not to be weaponised in this discussion and to be left out of it.

They're not messed up in the head. It's just that their internal reproductive organs are not fully developed or their external reproductive organs don't match the sex their blood shows they are.

1. To ascertain whether or not it is possible to brain wash an entire generation into a false and self-destructive system of belief using mass social media and the education system itself.

2. To ascertain whether or not it is possible to persuade an entire generation to willingly accept invasive infusion of artificially produced chemicals designed to reverse and drastically alter their natural bodily functions.

3. To ascertain whether or not it is possible to further persuade an entire generation to willingly accept massive body and life changing and irreversible surgeries involving removal of masses of healthy reproductive organs and tissue.

When looked at in those simple terms, no single individual on his planet could consider that this agenda is anything but the most incredible form of insanity ever foisted upon a generation of helpless innocents in the history of mankind, a generation held within a concentration camp prison of their own minds as re-created by mass social media*. It pushes into insignificance the brutal experiments of 'scientists' who held absolute power over similar groups held in concentration camps in the past - all of which and whom have been condemned by humanity as literally inhuman monsters.

One day Human Society will look back on the early 21st Century and be appalled at what doctors and scientists have been permitted to do to young children, and will ask over and over - "Why?".

Stop The Insanity NOW!

Correct - nothing whatsoever to do with the mental confusion labeled 'gender dysphoria' (or any other dysphoria for that matter) ... attempts by some to include them as some example of an agenda are the most degrading and insulting things anyone could attempt to do to a human being, and intersex people reject it, the same as gays and lesbians reject it and (side note) also reject that attraction to children is part of their 'group'.
