Yet, they're still a branch of "christianity"

Fred Nile, Tony Abbott, Scott Morrison and George 'the dead' Pell all "hate fags" with the same vigour as Westboro "christians" - but they're savvy enough marketers not to overly vocalise it.

... modern day christianity is all about "Sunday dress-ups" - and nothing to do with any words from some dude and social influencer named Jesus Christ.

... modern day christians are happy to adapt to some policy (not all) from what we call the "New Testament" - and one line from the Tanakh - or Jewish law scriptures - being the old Jewish law that any christian scholar would know - christians had been freed from, by JC, himself.
