He claims the Cass Review's conclusions are "anti-trans" and support his views, yet all it advocates for is rigorous research and robust data to substantiate treatment claims, particularly concerning children with gender dysphoria. Far from an attack on transgender individuals or their access to care, the review prioritises safeguarding and the delivery of safe, evidence-based, and patient-centred treatment.

While it does focus on addressing systemic shortcomings in how gender dysphoria is managed in young people, people like Grap frame its caution as emblematic of societal scepticism about transgender healthcare, if not transgenderism as a whole. In contrast, others rightly recognise the review as a necessary intervention to address critical gaps in safeguarding and medical ethics.

At its core, the Cass Review seeks to enhance outcomes for those suffering from gender dysphoria, advocating for better mental health support and increased capacity to assist those who genuinely require transition, both before and after surgery. It is a call for systemic improvement, not a denunciation of transgender healthcare.

Ultimately, it’s not the gotcha moment he wishes it to be, which is why he resorts to cherry-picking fragments to prop up his argument, while at the same time being deliberately vague on what his argument is so he can't be caught in a trap. Just like refusing to set the terms of the discussion before we begin, he's being deliberately slippery to account for reality not being on his side.

As usual.

If anything, the review underscores the importance of a measured, compassionate, and evidence-based approach, exposing the fragility of his narrative.

What else would you expect from someone like Grap?

He’s notorious for sharing articles with flashy, attention-grabbing headlines that are often misleading. More often than not, the substance of the article either fails to support, or outright contradicts, the claim he’s trying to push.

If he can’t be bothered to read beyond the headline of a single news story page, what are the odds he’s waded through a 400+ page report?

Frankly, I’ve got better odds of winning the lotto three times in a row.

Yeah i know he thinks that. He and i went through this a week ago. As you may be aware by this point, he has absolutely no idea what is said to him. The Cass review affirms the need for trans care. That be the bottom line. And it affirms it because the nature of being trans is real, evidenced and verifiable.

What i don't understand is what he thinks he's achieving with his copy and pastes. Like, what's he think he's telling us?

You are, as usual, delusional... I never said the Cass review report was 'anti-trans'.... the RECOMMENDATIONS of that review, once fully implemented, will assemble a FULL and all-encompassing body of 'science' around this fantasy - and that Science will inevitably lead to a downturn in the 'treatments' being perpetrated on minors and even infants.

You're not very good at this are you?

As it is - in the REAL world outside the struggling Neo-Third World such as Australia, the US and Spain - moratoria on all treatments for those under eighteen are coming into play, not least disposing of the blatant abuse of 'puberty blockers on demand' and particularly ensuring..... ENSURING that 'surgery' on those under eighteen is totally removed from the board.

Now why do you think that could be?  Hmmm?  Because those who actually consider these things think that YOUR 'narrative' will prevail after all those FULL reviews are undertaken?  Hmmmm?

Seriously - for the good of your mental health - you yourself MUST stop trying so desperately to view all such issues as 'for' and 'against' - "us" and "them" - "pro" and"anti" ... and you seriously must try to approach these issues with more thought and consideration and less emotional confusion.

The GOOD people are not "against" "transgenders" - they are FOR children and minors first and foremost .... so - who is left on the "other side" - the side which has done all the attacking to date?   Hmmmm?

So, you disagree with the principle findings of the Cass Report then.

I told you this a week ago.

You literally just been embarrassing yourself wver since.

Well - what principal findings do you imagine I disagree with?  As usual, your empty words mean nothing in this discussion.

YOU are embarrassing yourself... desperate last ditch defence of nothing.

"cherry picks fragments" - reality - posts each individual recommendation one by one for comment - no comments from losers though.

Well, that the existence of trans individuals is a "fantasy"

Why do you always need your own words explained to you?

No idea of what is said. Not by anyone or by your own self.

Oh, dear .....

https://www.gov.uk/government/news/ban-on-puberty-blockers-to-be-made-indefinite...

Ooooh - they screamed - you do realise this only applies to England....... every journey of a thousand smiles begins with a single step ..... Australian indolence over this issue will be soon receiving a major shakeup.... and in case you didn't notice - a major under-stated component  of the ban on social media is the restriction of kids accessing this madness online and thinking it might be a good idea to turn tranny.

Still can't say how I've 'misinterpreted' anything?   Hmmmmm??

Not very good at this, are you?

This is the usual cycle.  Not once, in all these years, have I seen him do anything else but double down when proven wrong and then start going on the offensive and getting personal, all of course, while claiming to be the victim himself.

It's DARVO all over again.

The reality is, that the Cass Review underscores the critical need for gender-affirming care in the UK, highlighting both the demand for such services and the necessity of improved mechanisms to enhance patient outcomes. It calls for better resourcing to help the UK's Gender Identity Development Service (GIDS) manage demand, as well as rigorous research and data tracking to move beyond a one-size-fits-all approach.

Grap dismisses this as a "fantasy", but isn't being anti-trans... Sure.

He couldn't be more wrong. If his sarcastic jabs about "science," "treatments," and "fantasy" are anything to go by, it’s clear he hasn’t grasped, or perhaps refuses to grasp, the findings of the review.

Instead, he conflates his tired culture war narratives with the legitimate needs of real people seeking care. His rhetoric isn’t grounded in the evidence presented by the Cass Review, it’s little more than a regurgitation of talking points spoon-fed to him by anti-trans voices.

That’s why I asked him: what sources would he actually accept as credible if we were to examine the Cass Review findings in depth? The author of the review herself? The University of York? The World Professional Association for Transgender Health? The United States Professional Association for Transgender Health?

Or would he reject all of them in favour of the manipulated, cherry-picked distortions fed to him by groups with an anti-trans agenda?

His refusal to answer speaks volumes, as does his persistent misrepresentation of the review's findings and recommendations.

The review doesn't mention anything about infants, yet he's happy to insinuate that this is an outcome the review's "warnings" if not heeded, will lead to.

But that’s Grap in a nutshell, when reality challenges his beliefs, he simply rejects reality and accuses anyone who doesn't of being delusional.

He doesn't even realise how much he's projecting when he says things like that.

Did-ums - wait for the reviews to all come in - that might even shake awake a few of our sleeping politicians who are hoping this madness will simply blow over before becoming a major issue of their inaction at an election.... given that they have managed to sneak in 'clinics' at major hospitals......  d'ye hear the distant tolling of the bells?  They toll not for thee ....

At least there is now a total ban on puberty blockers for English kids living in an amazing array of fantasy worlds.

Empty-headed assertions over and over and ad homs - scanning that nonsense from you both shows not one attempt at real discussion of anything, and shows clearly that you have never even read the Cass review Report.

I know you are desperate  ... on the ropes.... but you could at least try.

No - your kind include infants.......and you're going down.

Because, you utter simpleton, the Cass Report sets out by saying there is a need for gender affirming care.

Then it sets about recommendations for how to got about that.

So, not a "fantasy". Not a mental health issue. Not an abomination.

Verifiable, documented, predictable and well supported by study.

Studies like the Cass Report.
