Now - for the infant-minded here - let's hear it from the Cass Review Report again:-

Only 22 more recommendations from Cass to go - we all know that those ranting loudest haven't even read it, since they don't even recognise these for what they are - the recommendations.  Now then children... any criticisms of THIS Recommendation from Cass?  ..... it seems I must speak plainly with this lot  Roll Eyes :-

Let's try an example- I've done this before but you missed it:-

"The issue, as I see it, is that no one is willing to engage with you, and rather than introspect, you’re projecting that frustration onto me.

I’d wager this reluctance stems largely from your pattern of fabricating claims, attributing them to others, and then demanding they defend positions they never held. When they do engage, you ignore their responses, evade reciprocating by answering direct questions, and instead play the perpetual victim of supposed bad faith.

It’s the same tired routine: dismiss anything that doesn’t align with your views, declare victory without merit, and move on.

Frankly, there’s nothing to gain from engaging with someone who operates in such a manner.

And as if that weren’t enough, you repeatedly repost the same images in a transparent attempt to obscure your embarrassment.

For someone so eager to claim triumph, why are you behaving like such a sore loser? "

That's what's left after your ranting, capisce?

The issue is, that what you're dismissing as a rant is a simple summation of the situation we find ourselves in.

A snapshot of reality.

You're simply proving this to also be true:

SadKangaroo wrote on Dec 21st, 2024 at 8:24am:
But that’s Grap in a nutshell, when reality challenges his beliefs, he simply rejects reality and accuses anyone who doesn't of being delusional.

Grappler Truth Teller Feller wrote Yesterday at 10:47am:
What you are in reality discussing there is YOUR approach to any and every discussion - clearly laid out right there in that rant. all the assumptions, evasions, inability to think, refusal to look at the actual evidence in front of you (in this strand the one-by-one recommendations (and that's what they are) of the Cass Review to develop RECOMMENDATIONS, put there for your discussion - you (and m) don't even recognise them for what they are while raving about 'the cass review' and 'misinterpreting' - all empty words - and then later stamped PASSED due to NO attempt at discussion of the actual report).

I've made genuine attempts to engage, but you consistently retreat and shut down at the faintest hint of pushback against your claims, even when asked simply to clarify them.

It’s baffling. If you’re truly confident in your position, the least you can do is articulate your arguments clearly.

Moreover, if your views are not merely the by-products of preconceived biases, you should be open to reassessing them in light of compelling evidence. Yet, you won’t even entertain the notion of changing your mind, let alone outline what standard of evidence would prompt you to do so.

Instead, you prematurely declare victory in a battle you refuse to fight, all while evading accountability for the information, answers, or follow-up questions prompted by your own assertions.

This is why I’ve said before: you should consider starting a blog where you can curate the content, control the narrative, and moderate comments to your satisfaction.

It’s painfully clear you cannot handle disagreement or engage with people who substantiate claims that challenge your views.

Quote:
Clearly any 'projection' is on your part.  mothra I can tolerate to a certain extent, since the behaviour is that of a surly child - but you are claiming to be some intellectual giant.    Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin  Grin   Show us in that endless meaningless ranting where you could ever be any such thing?

I've never claimed to be an intellectual giant.  If you’re feeling self-conscious or intimidated by my posts, that's your shortcomings and inadequacies talking.

That’s your problem, not mine, champ.

Can't help yourself, can you?  Anything to evade the discussion points.... another endless rant ..  ignored ...

I take it you have nothing to add to the Cass Review report?  It'll still be handy for you - you can copy down the Recommendations and then speak from an educated position rather than a position seated on your brain.

The ironic part, Grap, is that I actually agree with most of the recommendations.

But your argument reeks of a false equivalence, conflating the push for better, safer treatments for individuals with gender dysphoria with some blanket rejection of gender affirmation.

They're categorically distinct.

Or have I misinterpreted your position, buried somewhere beneath the melodrama and relentless spam?

It is a mental illness', trans-sexuality. Obsessive body alteration requiring medical surgical intervention is an illness.

I happen to think homosexuality is also a mental aberration.  It doesn't require medical intervention but it is an obviously abnormal, deviant condition.

Funny - you haven't seen my argument.... take the last sentence as a given.  It's not spam - it's a day and night bombing campaign of truth after being challenged over what the Cass Review REPORT actually said.

Take some advice:-

Drop the ego problem.
Stop assuming about others you do not know.
Keep your requests and responses short and to the point, avoiding all personal jibes.
Try reading what people actually say, and avoid all the heroic megaphoning so predominant these days.
Stick to the subject and do one thing at a time... nobody is going to bother with a long-winded personal attack with maybe one little bit of a gem inside it.

"But your argument reeks of a false equivalence, conflating seems to Sad to be that the push for better, safer treatments for individuals with gender dysphoria with some blanket rejection of gender affirmation."

You couldn't be more wrong.... in a far more highly intensive forum discussing 'transgenderism', I have no problems at all and have some 'transgender' and gay/les 'allies'.

That "push for better, safer treatments for individuals with gender dysphoria" clearly dismisses 'gender affirmation' and replaces it with a full and comprehensive range of full treatments.  What in god's name could lead you, therefore, to assume that I am not pushing for "better, safer treatments for individuals with CLAIMED gender dysphoria", as opposed to the current 'gender affirming' process of simply accepting without any real attempt at finding the full story?

What kind of lunatic would find that 'gender affirming' stance acceptable - especially when it involves young children and confused teenagers?

It is therefore a perfectly valid position to state that the Cass Review - contrary to what mothra DID say initially before amending the post - did indeed not only not support 'gender affirmation', but RECOMMENDED (stress applied due to the vicious attacks on Cass from many circles) instead a wide range of other treatments up to the age of eighteen.

How could you fault my position on that?

How many days do you pair need?

Removing 'gender affirmation' IS the better, safer approach, and each step recommended by Cass excludes instant gender affirmation.

How many ways do I have to say this - all those other approaches negate 'gender affirmation' .... shove it aside... put it in the dustbin ... throw it out with the garbage... remove it from the board .... flush it down the bowl.....

Anyone who wishes to self-affirm at age eighteen has the right to do so.... it's their problem.

Why do you get these to consider and argue about?  Because of the attacks on me over the clear thrust of the Cass Review ... when you can show where this Review persists with the current approach - go ahead and do so...

So by your logic, since you can't quote anywhere in the case review that rejects gender affirmation, you lose?
