Because the Kennedys represent a corruption of the Presidency into something akin to a 'Royal Bloodline', but in a Political sense. It's a 'sex' thing.

Still, if WAR broke out, RFK might be a better choice than Nikki Haley - just because she is a woman. Sure it's sexist, but that's how America will see it with the belief that a Man can protect America more aggressively than a Female and all the other cliche's. So unless Nikki Haley operates like Ripley of Alien theme, I very much doubt she will get the nod if War is on the Agenda. Unless RFK shows to be 'weak' in that aspect, despite being male. Maybe he just wants to wroot around too and keep the Kennedy name alive in Politics. Who you know, not what you know - to be President.
