Love how the Sydney Morning Herald is creative with the headline. They don't talk about it being an "Islamic" group until the actual story.

The headline should be: "Islamic men's group accused of harassment, sexist slurs at water park day out"

A popular NSW water park has confirmed they are looking into an incident in which a “few bad apples” from a men-only Islamic event acted disrespectfully towards staff on Monday.

Female staff at Jamberoo Action Park, near Kiama, were allegedly harassed by young males at the Muslim “Brothers Day Out” event hosted by the Ahlus Sunnah wal Jam’ah Association of Australia (ASWJ), as first reported by the Illawarra Mercury.

The newspaper reported that the group had booked out the whole park to host 800 men and boys, some of whom called female staff “b--ch” and “sl-t”.

It also was claimed the park was initially asked that females not work that day, before the group directed that they must wear long sleeves and tights under their usual uniforms. An unknown number of staff ended up wearing tights underneath their usual red shorts.

Crying to the Media and the Politicians to do something about it, because they're too gutless and lazy to come together as a people and fix it themselves.

Even then you all backed down, when the Media and Politicians formulated 'leaders' to make an example of 'cutting the head off the snake' to con you all into thinking they had the situation now under control.

Female staff should be able to wear discreet cameras with audio to record patrons' obnoxious behaviour towards them. 

However their employer wouldn't like that I imagine.  And I suppose it might also be illegal to do it. 

But if supermarket employees are now able to wear recording devices, these water park employees should also have that right.  However it would have to be upfront like the supermarkets.  And in that case, I cannot see the water park management agreeing.

Jamberoo should have declined their booking when they started making the requests such as female staff not be employed for the event etc.
