American Media/Music is all youth and sex orientated.
Australian Media/Music is like an Aged Care facility in love with money sponging.
There was a time when Hollywood stars and Music Stars could come to Australia to get away from the paparazzi and Media spotlight - enjoying a lot of privacy because Australians just didn't give a rats arse who they were.
But around 2000 things started to change and the likes of people like Paris Hilton, Depp and Heard with their doggies and other 'Stars' started to experience an Australian Media attention much like they get in N.America. Now the Australian Media is obsessed with what colour their shoes are to what coffee they had.

Gone are the days where the likes of Jerry Lewis or Lee Marvin and others could come here and be treated like everyone else.

I had the opinion that Taylor Swift was overrated in the looks department. But, having seen what she looks like in casual wear and no make up, I have changed my mind. She is quite pretty when she is NOT dolled up. So, the "lady of the night" look is just not something for her. However, her casual look makes her seem quite attractive.
