This association played a major role in pathologizing homosexuality. The present study compared self-esteem and two measures of narcissism among 90 homosexual and 109 heterosexual male students, who filled in a demographic questionnaire, Rosenberg's Self-Esteem Scale, the Narcissistic Personality Inventory, and the Pathological Narcissism Inventory, which addresses both grandiose and vulnerable subtypes of narcissism. The hypothesis, which is based on the Freudian connection between narcissism and homosexuality, is supported by the results, indicating that the homosexual students score higher in both measures of narcissism and lower on the self-esteem measure, compared to their heterosexual counterparts. Intra-psychic, as well as environmental, interpretations of the results are suggested in the discussion January 2010Journal of Sex & Marital Therapy 36(1):24-34 DOI:10.1080/00926230903375594 What do you actually think you've demonstrated there, fruitbat? This should be good. maybe it could be that homos are more narcissistic, or maybe they mightn't be. a review of the totality of the evidence on the question if it exists could be instructive, but i doubt you would ever support the creation of such a review in its absence eitherway. Key Findings LGBT people (16+) are nearly 4 times more likely to experience violent victimization, compared to non-LGBT people. LGBT people are about 6 times more likely to experience violence by someone who is well known to them and about 2.5 times more likely to undergo it at the hands of a stranger, compared to non-LGBT people. LBT women are 5 times more likely than non-LBT women to experience violent victimization. The risk of violence for GBT men is more than twice that of non-GBT men. https://williamsinstitute.law.ucla.edu/press/ncvs-lgbt-violence-press-release/ good research https://www.icegif.com/wp-content/uploads/thumbs-up-icegif-1.gif You needed to be told that LGBT folk experienced more violence that cis people?
