Bobby,

bobby,

and do you believe that the Pope and his Cardinals have ever read the Judaeo-Christian bible ?

Genesis 6:5
And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

...AusGeoff,

Why do you hate Jesus, aka God ?

If you think I "hate" god or the man allegedly known as "Jesus", then
you'd be wrong.  God and/or gods simply don't exist in the real world—
they're just figments of primitive men's fertile imaginations.  And there's
no viable evidence that a mere man such as he's claimed to be ever
existed either.  He has as much likelihood of existing as Beowulf.

Quote:
Does his work.....censure too much, the lifestyle you yourself, have chosen to embrace?

The man you call "Jesus" has never done any works(?) that have been
historically proven.  There's nothing in any Christian story book like the bible
that could or has "censured" anything in the way I live my life LOL.

Quote:
Or, have you chosen to embrace hardcore atheism, because of your hatred of God's obvious moral authority ?
[i.e. His obvious moral authority, ....as our creator.]

Firstly, there's no such thing as "hardcore" atheism.  You either are or
you aren't of such persuasion.

Your imaginary, supernatural god could not have any moral authority.
Something that simply doesn't exist cannot affect anything in the real
world one way or the other.  And a supernatural entity definitely didn't
have anything to do with my creation.  I'm sure my dad would agree LOL.

Quote:
Myself, I just love God [and his work], because I have come to adore, to love the perfectness, of God's moral righteousness.

Oddly then, your god's moral righteousness seems to have overlooked
Gaza, Ukraine, Haiti or Myanmar for example.   Oh dear.

Quote:
I'm afraid that you will have to suffer my pronounced 'difference', in the way that I express myself here.

No problems Yadda.  Ultimately we're all entitled to our own opinions,
but that's as far as any of them go—opinions are of necessity not always
factual or evidential.  There's far more "evidence" for gods' non-existence
than for their existence.  You have not one iota of empirical evidence
that your own god—out of the thousands—actually exists.  Well, other
than personal faith. And faith is just belief without evidence.

Without faith, the bible doesn't make any sense.

Quote:
Alternatively, you could make a request to Freediver to have me banned from OzPol.

Nope.  That's a silly suggestion and an ultimately purposeless one.

Geoff,
Just for fun, explain the miracles of  Lourdes.

A real miracle happened when the British Government continued to pay his pension even though he was obviously no longer eligible.
All of the story is verifiable by the newspaper articles of the day, and the early years from. John Traynor’s service records.

Geoff,
You might also consider this:
Quote:
What did non-Christian authors say about Jesus?
As far as we know, the first author outside the church to mention Jesus is the Jewish historian Flavius Josephus, who wrote a history of Judaism around AD93. He has two references to Jesus. One of these is controversial because it is thought to be corrupted by Christian scribes (probably turning Josephus’s negative account into a more positive one), but the other is not suspicious – a reference to James, the brother of “Jesus, the so-called Christ”.

About 20 years after Josephus we have the Roman politicians Pliny and Tacitus, who held some of the highest offices of state at the beginning of the second century AD. From Tacitus we learn that Jesus was executed while Pontius Pilate was the Roman prefect in charge of Judaea (AD26-36) and Tiberius was emperor (AD14-37) – reports that fit with the timeframe of the gospels. Pliny contributes the information that, where he was governor in northern Turkey, Christians worshipped Christ as a god. Neither of them liked Christians – Pliny writes of their “pig-headed obstinacy” and Tacitus calls their religion a destructive superstition.

Did ancient writers discuss the existence of Jesus?
Strikingly, there was never any debate in the ancient world about whether Jesus of Nazareth was a historical figure. In the earliest literature of the Jewish Rabbis, Jesus was denounced as the illegitimate child of Mary and a sorcerer. Among pagans, the satirist Lucian and philosopher Celsus dismissed Jesus as a scoundrel, but we know of no one in the ancient world who questioned whether Jesus lived.

Well, for starters, there are no such things as "miracles" as that sort
of absurdity would involve the intervention of a supernatural entity or
some paranormal phenomena—neither of which have ever been proven
and/or possibly to exist with any empirical evidence,   So there is that.

Secondly, the name John Traynor does not appear in the
List of Approved Lourdes Miracles
.     Why not?

The Lourdes miracle “cures” aren't, of course, really miracles.  They
involve something else, such as fakery, autosuggestion, the placebo
effect, or spontaneous medical remission.

And some types of healings never occur at Lourdes, as indicated by
the comment of French writer Anatole France. On a visit to the shrine,
seeing the discarded canes and crutches, he exclaimed, "What, what,
no wooden legs?
"   (Joe Nickell,  Looking for a Miracle, 1998.)

There's a lot of interesting stuff in Debunking Christianity - Of Miracles.

John Traynor does not appear in the list of miracles because his case did not reach the level of certainty required, and I never said that his case was a miracle.
I merely ask for a logical explanation of what happened to him
None the less it its medically and scientifically inexplicable, in common usage it’s a miracle

So as you do not believe in miracles, kindly explain what happened to him so that others may be not led astray.

And whilst you’re at it you might respond to the usefulness of the Bible in the search for oil, and on your allegation that Jesus did not exist.

That's blasphemy and heresy.

Jesus forgave those who crucified him
for they knew not what they did.

Jesus's arrogance believed that they didn't know what they were doing.
But they did. They didn't accept a 'homosexual' as their King, etc.

President Pretending To Be Catholic Meets Pope Pretending To Be Catholic

...

BARI, ITALY — President Biden, who has for decades now pretended to be Catholic, took time away from the G7 summit this week to meet with a Pope who also enjoys pretending to be Catholic.

"Well hello there, fellow 'Catholic'! Hail Mary, am I right?" laughed Biden. "Ho-ho, what fun!"

According to sources present at the meeting, Biden and Pope Francis shared several great tips on pretending to be Catholic, as well as enjoying hearty laughs about people who actually thought they were Catholic. "See, if you just dress in a big white robe and wear a giant cross necklace, everyone will totally think you're Catholic," explained the Pope. "I met this Chinese refugee the other day who was actually Catholic, he comes up to me and asks why I handed over the Chinese Catholic church to the Communist Party, and I was like, 'HA! I got you so good! I'm not even Catholic, bruh!' It was so classic."

For his part, Biden shared stories of randomly pulling out a rosary to threaten anyone who doubted his Catholicism. "So I tell the guy, 'If you don't think I'm Catholic, I will choke you to death with a rosary!' Haha, murder," laughed Biden. "This was fun, Francis. You just really get me, man. Welp, I have to get going. I've got to be back home for an abortion rally. Toodles!"

At publishing time, the Pope had announced he would be hosting Stephen Colbert so he could also meet a comedian who enjoys pretending to be Catholic.
